Hope they give us the Ops firefight Vas too. First she shoves Hicks into going for the door after Hudson gets taken, then she was the ultimate badass holding them off while firing grenades into a load of them, then that line 'whatever you're gonna do, do it fast!'

Can't wait for this figure!

In addition to the smart gun, she will probably come with the S&W model 39 pistol and one M40 grenade that she used in the ops ducts. Not sure if she would also come with a pulse rifle.

So I managed to get the Kenner Ripley yesterday. Just had to get something on Alien day now that HT Ripley didn't happen. Not sure how rare it is. Did everyone who wanted it get it or how?

So Neca just confirmed that all of Aliens series 9' 3 figures will be revealed on Friday.

Little bit surprised to see that the wave isn't 4 figures like other people have also thought, but with Newt being an exclusive and everything now I guess it makes sense.

Guess we know who the unknown is if those rumours are true... Frost. By no means a bad thing, but I know Drake would of been higher on some people's lists.

Also FYI on Drake being viable due to being able to reuse most of Vasquez:

Well he did decline to say what line the 2 additional figures would be from and later admitted one was a predator. So the 3rd is unlikely to be another from the aliens line.

Good read overall lately on Twitter. Lots more info than usual including how newt is able to be an exclusive without as much risk of loss compared to her risking warming pegs as a regular release. Also shared tooling talk where he dismisses Drake as an easy one...

I still think Drake will happen. But maybe it's a good idea to hold him for another wave rather than blowing the entire Smartgunner load in one go. He's one of the more distinctive marines so if saving him for later means we can maybe get one of the less distinctive soldiers paired with him then great.

Agreed, I'll wait and be happy with whatever they give us this far in. I know Neca's stand on all human waves but do you think they surprise us for the 30th anniversary wave with all humans? I thought for sure we'd get 4 figures in this wave so I'm unsure what they'll do but the good news is we only have to wait a couple days until we find out. I really hope there is nothing else from the Aliens line as a SDCC exclusive though, Newt will be hard enough to track down since I would love to get 2-3 of her if possible.

Drake would be ****ing sick if he's part of Series 9. But Frost is an easy reuse. So Vas is one, Frost possibly, who else? Newt is an SDCC ex so she's out.

Making Newt exclusive an exclusive is all well and good but there is a whole wide world outside of the USA who are going to have to pay well over the odds on eBay for this figure, Neca do not ship outside of the U.S. so as far as I'm aware eBay will be the only option.
