NECA Alien & Predator Exclusive 2-pack

I was venting about my ____ty town, I can never find ____ in Cincy. It makes me mad if you can't tell.

That's right, that's a pretty large town amirite? I can see there being a lot of competition for getting figures.

When I was in NYC in the summer, I called a TRU when they opened about pred figs and they had them; I was there 15 minutes later and none were left. I'm lucky that I live in a small town now with two TRUs within driving distance

Its like in the summer, I had to get there the moment the TRU opened and even then I had competition. Things fly off the shelves, or at least the things I am looking for.

Unless you live in a ____ ass town that doesn't have them in stock yet, you can't get a ride there very often, have a job and the people in your town buy everything immediately and nothing is left after work or you don't live near a TRU.

I don't know if every store is the same, but the one in my area will hold the item for you for a day if you call them and let them know.

It's funny, the way the NECA predators sell you think they'd be making a lot more of them instead of just three a series & four months between each series. All the other movie franchises they make toys of don't seem to sell as quickly as the predators series (even the aliens don't sell out too quickly, in many places you can still find the original 9" alien still on the shelves).

Well, I get mixed answers by employees everytime I call it seems. Some say they can and some say they can't.

That's funny about the Alien. I can't find Aliens anywhere, that was when they were released, same with AVP-R figures.

well this morning i went to TRU and got my "stashed" 2-pack and man let me tell you, it is soooo nice to FINALLY have an accurate '87 Predator. he looks fantastic, and the alien is also very nice. its my first alien figure, and i dont even collect the aliens since im strictly a pred fan but hey, pred needs someone to fight right? lol. he is amazing, the facial sculpt is dead on to the film. very impressed, and the articulation is just as good as the T2 figures. neca is certainly improving with the articulation, its well hidden and adds the fun factor to this great figure. if anyone wants pic requests i will give them gladly.

Why? There's nothing new in this twopack that pictures can show, so what's the point really.

What's the point in the hundreds of other photos being posted of the same figures over and over again in various other threads on this board.

I like photos as do others.

I like seeing photos of figures I like and want.

Another reason I like to see photos is because in this photo, the paint apps look alot better than the past ones we have seen.

I think I will find these this week. I live right next to Toys R Us practically and my office is next to another one. I can drop by with ease to see if they've got any a couple of times this week.

ok just snagged one of these. nothing much to add besides there were about 7 or 8 of them in the store and i got the only one without broken/missing parts in the package and the only alien that didn't have a big glob of glue in its dome. as expected, i'm not happy with the paint apps but that's easily fixed on here. there's always customizers willing to take my $$.

*I only say figure due to my limited knowledge on what statues are out there, otherwise I'd go as far to say it's the most accurate of all of them!
