NECA Alien & Predator Exclusive 2-pack

I saw a couple of these last night. Will these be worth a lot down the line? The only thing Neca I have is the 4 TMNT's.

definitely. i cashed in my 401k and got 2 of them saved up for my retirement plan. i suggest everybody else does the same. these are as good as gold.

I'm just asking because I like to buy 2 of things and sell 1 later for at least double to get mine free and possibly make a small profit. Is that likely with this set?

You are a funny guy. I wouldn't doubt that you would need to cash in you're 401k to buy these though. I thought I asked a legitimate question.

I feel that way as well, I buy two of each not in the hopes of a profit later, but because it looks awesome to have a packaged one on the wall next to an opened one

i saw this 2 pack at TRU (i work there seasonal right now) this morning, and daamn that predator looks sweeeet! the alien looks awsome too but im more interested in the predator as i like the predator movies (never got into the alien ones, too freaky and scary). however the alien at least is the one from the first film, and the predator is the one from the original arnie film, and it just looked awsome with the detail and the head and everything. it makes the "predators" figures look like cheap toy figures in comparison. i think i will more then liekly be pickjing this up, but im just wondering if they will be releaseing this predator as a single pack down the road or will it be totally different. i know there were 3 different P1 head sculpts (closed mouth, opened mouth & masked), im sure the masked one is coming but will there be 2 interchangable heads?

and what the hell IS going on with release date of the P1 and P2 figures? those are the only ones i really want but havent heard about them in a while.

I couldn't care less about reselling. If I buy 2 figures, I bought 'em cuz I plan to keep 'em forever. If I do sell, it's because a better version of that product came out, and even then I won't expect to get back any more than what I paid for it.

It's funny, whenever I go into my local comic shop there is always someone trying to sell a baseball card, comic or figure, and the bubble has long since burst on those "investments", and they are stuck with crap nobody wants anymore.

I've been buying the hell out of those 7" Star Wars Unleashed figures lately. Years ago they would go for $100+ for certain figures, now you can find them for less than the retail cost half the time.

So... uh, yeah, buy extras to resale! I look forward to getting some extras in a few years.

So far NECA has said the head for the Pred in the 2-pack will be in the 2-pack only.

NECA will not include interchangable heads in-package, you will need to buy all the figs for each individual head.

The Masked P1 will be out around March '11, and the P2 figures have just begun to be sculpted, so they will not be out until at least summer or fall of '11.

If I may ask, where do you live and which area TRU did you see the 2-pack at? And about how many did you get in at the store?
