Well, here was my ApesDay build. Its a small Detolf sized diorama. I think it turned out pretty good from a first timer.
Here's the final product. After it drys, I will place it in my detolf and see how it looks with some Apes and lighting.

Nice one sallah. Also I was curious to know if this week you were gonna get any feedback or sales no.s from yesterday's ape day promo from any of the vendors... Hope sales were good and Neca sees a strong fan base behind there fantastic apes products!

One of the vendors involved in the online promotion messaged me this morning to state "Everything went above our expectations".
And judging by some of the posts of receipts I saw on twitter, the day seemed to go well. I saw multiple large quantity posts... folks buying 10+ Gorilla soldiers from NECA's Amazon shop, a guy that bought multiple cases of Wave 1, lots of retro Gorilla Soldier & Lawgiver preorders, and a substantial amount of TRU Gorilla 2-packs.
It was quite heartwarming to see so much support. Even NECA acknowledged it, stating: "You guys showing all this Apes love is amazing!! Thanks so much. Your support & dedication is greatly appreciated"
My hope is that this sent the message to at least a few retailers that we want more. But no matter what, I think we at least showed NECA that they have some fevered support here. We want our Apes...

Sallah that is AMAZING news! That really warms my heart and hopefully this shows Neca Apes are wanted.
That's awesome news from retailers. I did my share with 14 Gorillas, 3 Zira, 1 Cornelius, and a Jungle Predator Dutch, ( I wanted the burning torch, it should look great with the apes.) I have yet to order the Lawgiver, so I will eventually get that, and probably 2 Gorilla soldiers 8". I was thinking about ordering 2 bandoliers from the Mego site, but after seeing what some fans made, I think I will try to have the bandoliers made, they look better than brown plastic. I just got home and there was a package of 10 Gorillas, Zira, and cornelius waiting for me.

Please post any fan made bandoliers for the 8" Gorilla Soldier here on this thread. Hopefully we will get a few industrious fans to make them for sale. I'm interested in getting one for my son and me.

When I saw this picture on Facebook, my heart skipped a beat. Being Monkey Monday and all, I thought NECA was teasing us with a picture of a POTA future figure!
