Is NECA trying POTA again? I see BBTS has a set of 4 figures listed today. I assume they're rereleases.

Yep. They only care about Turtles now so they're chucking old sculpts back out there.

Well, I might pick these up. How many figures did they make originally?

Total rereleases, likely with inferior paint apps. Saw the Assassin's Creed figures and they're missing a number of paint decos on them compared to the originals.

I'm guessing they still had the license and are hoping the new movie will help revitalize interest in the old POTA movies. A rerelease of the old figs is them testing the market again?

Besides the 4 figures being rereleased, there was a Cornelius and Gorilla Soldier 2 pack.

I ordered the four pack from Entertainment Earth. Kind of was hoping for some figures from the new movie. I don’t have any Apes in my collection and the four pack is a decent starting point.
