Wait so they are calling them Yautja on the back of the card? :yess::yess::yess::yess:

I know this debate was from another thread but it still feels good to be right, Knew that stuff was cannon, as it should, calling them predators is way too vague, like calling a xenomorph an Alien. glad they are being called the proper name finally. hopefully it's mentioned in the next film.

I like calling them "predators". i Know it's not accurate, but i think it's cool because it's the name humans gave to them without knowing anything about their true identity(how many are them? are all of them hunters?where do they come from?) all these thing not being explained it's something cool in my opinion. By the way, talking about "xenomorphs" is different, since they use this word in the second film; the company refers to them like this. on the other hand, i don't recall calling a pred "yautja" on screen. in fact, nobody fighting against a pred in any of the movies knows what it really is

If I remember correctly, "xenomorph" just mean foreign life form. Not much of an alien name. You could just as correctly call the "predators" xenomorphs.

Yautja was never said on screen, which was my point i made in another thread. no one knows what they are, so how can they know their true name? the thing is in the reality of the films, they must have a true name. Yautja seems good enough to me, and since Fox is now accepting the name, it's no longer a debate, that's what they are called.

I hope the figures are better, especially a large predator.

The eyes are the wrong color and the color of the mouth is smeared (red / skin color) and the armor pieces are different colors( Armor on the Arm its brown and on the legs a other brown/silver color).

Yeah, the paint could use some work, but that's just the price to be paid for being a mass produced assembly line figure.

I was more talking about the overall quality. With my Warrior Aliens, there are some with bend heads, molding cracks, some sort of glue-like substance stuck on the ribs, just bad stuff. From what i have seen the Pred seems to suffer from none of that.

I can always fix the paint later. Badly molded/produced plastic is something that I cannot fix, and luckily these figures seem seem to have come out very good in that reguard.

And xacto knife and superglue can fix anything... ;)

Oh wow! I'd love to get a pack of hounds to put with Flusher. That would be awesome!! :yess:
Okay, I don't have a problem with it, but why did you call him "Flusher" when your username is "Tracker?"
I have a great idea, lets stop talking about what to call the PREDATORS and just call them PREDATORS!! :wave thank you :D

:exactly::goodpost:

If you show me the movie in which they're called a "yautja" i will say you win the debate. Until then, ____ no with a cherry on top.

Yautja is a term that was used in the Aliens vs Predator comics and novels to refer to the Predators. It was never used in the movies, just the comics/novels.

As much as I will forever call predators "Predators" (unless it is in a REALLY GOOD Predator movie) all I can think of in this case is Star Wars where there are names for so many things that are in the background for about 1/9 of a second.
