I just talked to my brother who currently lives in Northern Alabama and I asked him to check there local TRU for these guys. He said he found 1 classic and a ton of Falconers and Berserkers. I told him to pick me up a Classic and Falconer. I might have him pick me up a few more.

Thanks PharOOO. I'm totally guilty of it myself, I can't say I fill the time with anything productive and then I still do the complaining about getting older. :monkey3 28 on sunday, still youngish but what the hell happened to the last 10 years?? Wasn't I 18 yesterday? :lol

I'm starting to think you're my long lost twin. I just turned 28 too!
And ofcourse, I ask myself all the time what happened to the last 10 years. 18 seems just like yesterday for me too. Trust me, it's not like I'm a success story by any stress of the imagination. 90% of my time is spend slacking. It's just recently that I starting filling some of that time with productive activites. lol
To make this post thread related though, I had taken the McFarlane Predator's trophy band & placed it on the NECA Classic recently. It fits really well and is in scale. I tried to do the same with the the necklace but was afraid of breaking off the McFarlane figure's neck. However, the Classic looks really cool with the addition. I didn't want to wait until 2011 for an official 1987 Predator. lol

Ok. Since this is a Predator franchise thread, how many of you would buy this.
This is all assuming NECA secures the rights for Arnold's likeness to produce a Dutch figure and then EVERYTHING else falls into place with regard to actor's likeness and NECA's faith this would sell well.

Predator - Series 1
- Dutch (Iconic movie poster pose)
- Predator (Masked version)
- Blaine (with gaitling gun)

Predator - Series 2
- Dutch - (mud covered version)
- Predator - (unmasked - closed mandibles)
- Billy (full gear or bare-chest)

Predator - Series 3
- Dutch - (with added articulation, full gear)
- Predator (unmasked - open mandibles)
- Dillion (vest and removeable arm)

And finally, a boxset with Mac, Hawkins, Poncho, Anna, and Predator (stealth with glowing (painted) yellow eyes) to round out the major characters of the movie.
I know, you might be thinking, this boxset would never happen but NECA has done a Resevoir Dogs set which had 5 characters in it.
Not saying this is at all possible but it's too cool to imagine a shelf of the whole elite commandos someday.

as much as i liked a few of the characters, i still don't care about owning figures of them. i really only care about the monsters. and they're all boring looking army/commando figures except for the mud camo Dutch.

besides, Arnold already has a bajillion toys made of him. give it a rest.

Same here. The Preds are the only figures I care about owning. Dutch is the only human from the entire series I'd probably make an exception for. The other humans while some have cool characters, I really have no desire for a figure of them. But I guess I'm in the minority in that reguard.

As many figures as Arnie has, I'd still prefer it to HT's growing (for some reason) Michael Jackson line. Move over, M Icon. A Icon would be a total hit.

@PharOOO: Your box set suggestion actually makes sense, save for the stealth Predator. I think they'd have him seperate. But really, they've done human characters before, so it's almost a no-brainer here. Sadly, probably won't happen :(.

You can never have too many figures of Arnie

i'd maybe make an exception for the mud camo Dutch. it's pretty iconic and the only appearance where he actually fights the predator.

ha, i can't even take Arnold as seriously as MJ. i'd rather have a Captain EO icon figure than any Arnold icon.

there have been too many Arnold figures since the mid-1990s, dude. but that said, i'd buy an Arnold from Junior figure.

Lets relight the fires!
