Yeah but do you think you'll care when the proper P1 comes out? Unless the open mandible headsculpt is going to be exclusive to series 1 Classic.

I'm hoping to get the masked P1 most, but your open mandible argument's pretty valid. I'd love both heads, but I dunno if NECA will do another open-mouthed sculpt for the P1.

Okay, it looks extremely close to the original...... That was the whole point of having him in Predators, bringing that nice original design back. What do you mean it doesn't look like the original mask? It might not be an exact copy, but it sure as hell looks very similar..

Yes, it is MOSTLY the original design. However, the mask in predators is damaged; the crown of the head on the right side is damaged, and the left eye is completely exposed.

I might get it just to have a proper predator for the berserker to fight, but I'd really prefer a masked p1. I'd probably end up getting them all anyway

RF: We’re always trying to push for better deco and paint from our factories otherwise the Alien will remain unchanged as it is meant to be a 2 pack of the original incarnations of these characters from their original films.

know what sucks? that. they had a chance to improve on the figure and they're not doing it.

You're getting how many versions of the P1 Predator?
Masked, Closed Mandible (and you can include the Open Mandible version).
You're getting an Elder Predator, and we've gotten movie accurate versions of the Alien and Alien Warrior and PREDATORS creatures.

PLUS all of the other licenses that they're producing that we don't collect.

NECA is putting out great stuff.

i'm talking about, less and less, acessories, no bases,, you have to buy all 3 predators, to get all 3 size arm blades, same way with their terminator figures, great sculpts but, cheaper and cheaper paint work. higher prices, etc, etc, imo neca is going down hill ,from where they first begin, their aliens are great sculpts, but are poor material,they snap, trying to just pose them

Good enough for the pricepoint. You can't always have the "wow" factor PLUS durability and poseability on a $15 figure. NECA's found a decent balance with some rare issues.

Kinda sad that they're not updating the Alien, I know Kyle wanted to, and a little tweak to the dome would've turned a maybe into a sure buy.
Let's just wait and see what they look like in hand.
Also very sad to hear A3 is not in the near future plans...

All the rest of the stuff looks brilliant.

People will get all three anyway, so does it really matter?

I don't see why they need bases either, the only figures I ever use bases with are ones that can't stand without them.
