This is what I love about NECA. Their cost and constant releases make it possible to collect every figure from a film. Those Hounds look beautiful too. Great poseability (especially in the neck!), but I gotta agree with prefused here.

As for the interview, there are only two issues... Dog Alien isn't in their immediate plans? MAJOR bummer. The only Doggy in this scale looks downright inaccurate. Second problem is that P2 depends on whether or not "[NECA] can get to it." Really, if they're making the P2 Elder, they've gotta give us the City Hunter himself. And, like with the Dog Alien, the only other P2 in this scale is pretty bad.

Its just a pity they don't see any value in making the humans. For me it really detracts from this line. What use are these Predator hounds with no prey for the Predators to use them against.

And, like with the Dog Alien, the only other P2 in this scale is pretty bad.

Yep, I'll go further to say its really really awful. The bio bears no resemblance whatsoever to the real mask, the head is completely the wrong shape, the dreads are pitiful, the waist is ridiculously skinny...god; just horrendous. Can't believe I ever liked the McFarlane P2s. Please NECA, erase them from my memory with a proper City Hunter figure.

Yeah, i have always disliked the McFarlane P2, and my dog alien's head just snapped off.... Anyway, the hound is looking FANTASTIC! and the Elder is making me drool, he's so beautiful..

I like my mcfarlane P2 actually, but not as the predator from P2 - just as another random predator.

As the actual P2, though, it's terrible...

Just looking at BBTS there and only the unmasked berserker and tracker predators are available for individual preorder. Why not the masked Classic? Isn't he the most in-demand? Same thing happened with the last T2 series - all figures except the one everyone wanted, the Galleria T-1000, was available for individual order.

Is Neca really shortpacking the best and most eagerly anticipated figures? If so why the hell??

Seriously, it's still a pain in the ass to get the first Classic. I may have to resort to buying online which I REALLY don't like doing with NECA figures, for obvious reasons.

It's Classic..it's the original. No matter what, people will want him more. Well, there is the little kid who knows nothing about the predator and thinks Mr. Black looks cooler..

But... It isn't.. The mask doesn't even look like the one in the original movie, at least the series 1 predator did minus the lack of trophy necklaces :shrug

I do think mr. black is more visually appealing, though.

The latest Mr. Black looks fantastic, though. That headsculpt combined with the new paint apps... damn. I see some great figure photo shoots in my future once I snag him.

Okay, it looks extremely close to the original...... That was the whole point of having him in Predators, bringing that nice original design back. What do you mean it doesn't look like the original mask? It might not be an exact copy, but it sure as hell looks very similar..

Well, they probably thought they could get away with the first factory paint apps. Once they saw our reaction to it, they got a kick in the pants and tried to make things look a little more appealing for Wave 2. It worked . Still, I wish they'd continue Wave 1. Use what they learned to give us a well-painted masked Berserker. And also to give us another shot at Classic. Can't find that sucker anywhere...

Yeah but do you think you'll care when the proper P1 comes out? Unless the open mandible headsculpt is going to be exclusive to series 1 Classic.
