it just means the subject matter in the post is "ambitious". that tells me they're more hoping rather than planning to make them.

It just means that they've got alot going on in the studio.

4 separate Pred masks, plus all of the other figures they're currently working on...ambitious.

i'm guessing the four masks are P2, Boar, Ram, and Gort. the other two left are duplicates. that hash tag is kinda discouraging, though.

No, from what I understand it's Ram, Gort, Boar and Brother Boar.

I remembered today that I don't have the classic alien/predator 2-pack yet - so I looked around and found it on forbiddenplanet.com. For some reason it seems to be represented by pics of the AvP:R figures but the write up strongly suggests its the current set and not those older figs so I ordered.

I'll want that alien skull if NECA are doing the lost clan since theres a possibility the losties will come with more skulls from the trophy wall.

Can't say for sure what pics they're using, but these show the differences pretty clearly.

Aside from City Hunter's helmet, the one I want the most is Gort. It's just such a cool design.

I also hope they touch these figures someday as well. The movie did suck, but the inaccurate McFarlane ones are going for $40+ easily on Ebay, so there appears to be some market for them.

There's definitely a market for them, regardless of the quality of the flicks. I just want em cause they look cool. Want the lost even more though, so I am a happy camper either way!

Seriously, P1 and P2 were kind of chunky in some areas. And the AVP Preds were just plain buff. It's a part of the design, ladies and gentlemen.

I choose to believe they bulked up for the cold climate, but the scene right before Scar slashes Quinn (where you see Celtic's and Chopper's backs) still bothers me a bit.
I would rather have them bulky though.

Wolf's physique was probably an example of what not to do with a Pred's body. Some people like the design and I respect that, but I'd personally have a semi-chunky or linebacker Predator before anorexic.
