it's not so much a comic as a short story one-shot. it was in one of those Dark Horse Presents issues. and as with most Predator comics, it's not very good. i guess it's good enough for NECA to think it's canon, though.

Kinda annoying to me that the Elder's bio info mentions Harrigan and NECA have no intention of making a figure of him.

100% agree!
If everything coming out from NECA's Predator line sells well in 2011, you & I will start the petition in 2012 for Dutch & Harrigan from NECA.

Sadly I think it would come to nothing. They certainly wouldn't make them after all the Predators. The best strategy would be to mix them in with a few Preds.

even if they did make Harrigan/Dutch, i'd pass on them. Harrigan was boring and Dutch would be just another unnecessary army-guy Arnold toy. i'd rather NECA uses those resources to make the A3 Dog because there has never been a decent figure made of it.

yeah, i just care about the creatures though. i didn't watch P2 to see Glover play another over-the-hill cop character i've seen a bunch of times before. i saw it because of the awesome Stan Winston space monsters.

NECA did say they they would like to make Dutch but can't get the rights. They also said that they had no interest in making Harrigan or Royce. This was said on their Twitter awhile back.

Predator is just as much an Arnold movie as it is the alien, maybe even more. The same is true for P2. They are human character driven movies with the alien serving as the antagonist. It's only within the last decade or so, as the popularity of Arnold has decreased, that the focus of the movie has shifted towards the Predator.

As much as i love Arnold its always been about the Predator for me even when I seen it in the theaters as a kid. I love Arnold, but again the Predator is why I always went back to it, not because of Arnold.

.....and even still, there is just way too much 'human' involvement in the recent movies.

We need a good director who is daring enough to try it and a great screenplay for him to work with.
