.....and even still, there is just way too much 'human' involvement in the recent movies.

We need a good director who is daring enough to try it and a great screenplay for him to work with.

I don't know about you, but I actually like my movies to have good solid characters. If the main humans are merely fodder for the creatures, that's a crap movie in my honest opinion, and that's exactly what AVP-R did. Well, I can't really say that; the Strauss brothers tried to give them stories, they were just terrible at it and looted the 'stock character development' bin :D.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see an all-Pred flick. But it would take an excellent writer/director to be successful, not to mention some sort of emotional substitute for the usual human characters. Won't quite work if it feels like a silent movie or the dialogue isn't interesting.
Think of it this way: the Predators are why you come, but the humans move the film itself along. Without them, it can get old even for creature fans.

I want an AVP movie with no humans at all. Watch the whole thing without one word being spoken. If someone can pull that off, oh man, that would make my day.

I agree with Blade.

I want something like AvP: Prey.
Very likeable Human main character because you really can't have a movie with only Predators and Aliens unless it's a documentary or something.. And the Predators would have a more detailed involvement in the story, we would see them communicating, all that stuff.
We wouldn't just see them come out of the shadows every once in a while to snatch up a Human/Alien.. We would see into their lives, their personalities.

The movie needs to be from both species' points of view, ya know?

I also think subtitles would work better in the movie if Humans were in it.

p.s: I was just walking my dog, noticed something outa the corner of my eye, looked over and I saw this blurry ripple-like thing move across the trees. :horror

Absolutely, it can be done and has been done in the past.

I would say use humans, but keep it to a minimum. They should be there only to move the story forward, not as a subplot. We shouldn't care if they die and we don't need to know who is falling in love.

In AVP-R, they quickly showed a Yautja city. I'd like to see more of what goes on with a clan in their homeworld (and I'm not talking about watching them shop at the mall or bring their young to school).
How about the process of putting a clan together; a tournament perhaps. The top 3 champions are then sent to a planet to accomplish a seemingly deadly goal.

I'd like to see a hunt from the viewpoint of the predators for once, not from their prey.

If it was done right, an all Predator film would be fantastic. However I do enjoy a strong lead character. Dutch and Royce were great lead characters and look how much love the characters of Predator have gained over the years.

In regards to AvP:R I liked how much it focused on Wolf as a main character but I didn't like how the human stories shifted around; just give us one solid lead:gah:

I enjoyed that teaser of the Predator world in AvP:R. I would happily go back there.

Taking down a T-Rex and taking his trophy:rock

It'd be nice to see a small hint of them in Prometheus, of course we won't though. It's not like a HORRIBLE thing... :dunno

Even if the Alien and Predator franchises were never joined together, I still think it would be an awesome idea. And Ridley did say something about the Universe being filled with several different intelligent life-forms billions of years ago, including the Jockey...

I wonder what NECA will do with Prometheus..

I know:rock Although the Space Jockey is part of the Alien universe it will be fun having another alien to add to the Alien and Predator characters. Hopefully some figures will get made too...Imagine a 1/6 Space Jockey:D
As long as it isn't a rubber body, I'll be excited.

i'd rather have the house that would be big enough to display that in.
