Scuplt is Awesome, and the paint looks pretty good even for 7"
In 18 with cleaner and better paint this is a hot candidate for the best and most accurate Elder.

but to be honest the P2 figures on the market are moderately, big effort not really necessary.

The Mouth of the Elder ist to big compared to the Movie.
Is must be closer and smaller.

I hope tankman revisted the Elder an make a nice 1/4 Version.

Agree, such things should be improved for 18! but overall it looks very good. Dont forgive this is 7"
Proportions are very accurate, likeness is fine. The only thing is the paint.
But at this size you cant expect Wonder

Something I just noticed about the series 3 masked classic, is that the mask and head are actually just 1 piece, as opposed to the other Preds who have 2 piece heads, with the mask being a seperately glued-on piece. Berserker, Falconer, Tracker, Battle-Damaged Classic, even the SDCC Gort... all of these had the mask as a seperately casted part that was attached to the head. The Masked classic is just one solid piece.

Which is odd, because the 1/4th Pred had the mask as a seperate piece, I wonder why they chose to do this with the 7" one. I wonder if this is the reason why most of them seem to have the molding lines and cracks running through it, because it is a large casted part using regular plastic and painted over, not the mask as a seperate casted part using slighly more flexible plastic.

I wonder what head the series 6 "Lost Predator" (the one with the P1 mask) will use, the series 3 head with P2-style dreads, or a newly sculpted 2-part P2 style head and seperate P1-style mask?

The Elder have a Lot of Errors, they are all must fixed for a big version.

I find the likeness not so good as P1 and P2.
The Mouth is too big an the Squills to small.


The Paint is not good.
The Yellow Points on the head are bad and the forehead is to shiney.


I expect not a Wonder on this Size, but a little bit more.

For figures are the Aliens and the Queen important.

Sigouney Weaver is a very good acttress, but as a figure they are very boring.
Its not a Action Ikon like Schwarzenegger ore Stallone.
A Likeness of this is for me more important.

Just Got the SDCC Gort.From Amazon today. Hes cool. The back shows to other lost Preds any word of when we will see them other then Fall.

probably due to mold size/type. i think the 19" figure is rotocast instead of injection. or at least parts of it are.

Finally received my Elder and Masked Predator from TRU yesterday. Although from the outside the box did not appear damaged, and the air packs seemed sufficient on the inside, the Elder package's plastic housing was completely torn from the card and the Masked Predator package's plastic housing was partially torn along with having a bent card. I think I'm going to return the Elder, especially since this one is missing the earrings on the mandible.

Shame on you, TRU, even if I did plan on opening them up!

Most accurate Elder to date generally seen
Mouth looks great and squills are not not to small.
The only visible weakness is the unclean paint , but it improves automatically on a bigger scale like 18".
It has always been so and it always stays so.
However, paint looks ok for 7" and for the price. It costs 15$ and not 150$, think about it.


So just the two Action Icons like Sly or arnold deserves a good figure ?
Ripley boring, why because she is a woman and has fewer muscles than Schwarzenegger or Stallone ? lol, very childish

i don't get what the big deal is. the packages are gonna get tossed in the garbage anyway. if it's missing parts i could see the problem. but otherwise, who cares. somebody saved you the hassle of opening it.

Sigourney plays a character in a horror series who doesn't know how to use a gun.

That's why most people are going to pass on a figure of Sigourney.

Will Smith is famous and interesting.. Are figures of him going to sell out like crazy? Hell no

And he never said Ripley was a boring character. He said a figure of her would be boring.
I disagree, because I'm a huge Alien/Predator fan, but still.

The only people who would purchase a Ripley figure are the bigger fans.
That's just not the case with Arnold.
