NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Thanks and we've had many of those Elders and P1's snap like that. Seems like the factory is getting it together on series 4 and the joints are good to go. Sucks real bad the Elder has so many problems with the elbows. This stuff makes us sick really. I'm hoping series 5 and 6 won't have any of that snapping off crap. For what they are these guys are great and
I'm thinking about AVP1 even though I hated the look of the Predators in that movie. It would be fun to one up the old McFarlane figures. I really do enjoy doing that a lot.

i would love to see neca do avp predators,we know the sculpts would be killer, since you'd be doing them.
i can only image what you could do for the avp elder.it would rock.

We've done nearly all of them anyway and fans can't get enough of Predator stuff. Might be cool having thick AVP Predators standing next to all the other ones we're doing. I'd enjoy doing some original stuff.

I won't lie, this pictures make me want to buy the figures and repaint them. The poses and overall vibe they give off are just awesome and I'm seeing some very dynamic possibilities there. I'd love for those who actually did elaborate repaints to try and pose theirs like this.

Not sure if I'll be able to resist the urge to impulsively buy if I see these in stores... the more I put off stopping by my LCS, the happier my wallet shall be.

fyi, i did mod the neck and the ankles a bit tho, that's why the head can look up that much. and i widen the front of the shin guard so the ankle can bend further

Tankman: PLEASE do the AVP preds. The movie wasn't great, but those pred designs are just so cool. I know I would buy them all!

I find the AvP designs far superior to AvP-R's. As fat, and as overly bulky as they were, they had this cool look to them.

AvP-R was said to improve it...but they just made it worse. Insted of fat, they made them super skinny. Insted of a fixed mouth, they made it worse.

AvP's had cooler toys anyway.

They didn't look fat. Just husky/big-boned..and I agree, the look is nice.

And Wolf wasn't "super skinny", just moreso than the previous Predators... Which didn't really look bad at all.

As for the mouth, uh..no. Much better than Scar's. Do you not remember Scar's mandibles flying all the way up to his friggin eyes?
So obviously latex (or whatever material).

Actually, it seems smaller than the real thing.

Hey everyone, I finally found this series and I am very happy with them! The City Hunter paint really made me cringe but by doing something so simple (that all of you can do) I think I have made him exponentially better looking. Behold:

The problem with City Hunter is the amount of white on his nose/under eyes. So what I did was take a brown sharpie marker and carefully colored those parts in. That right there made him look so much better. Then I looked at some reference pics and noticed his head has a black border inside his inner crown. So I took a skinny black sharpie to add the new effect. Doing that made his entire head come together and create a very nice contrast with all that white. Now the City Hunter is easily my favorite Predator from Series 4. He just looks so damn good now with P1!

Nope, I don't know the first thing about painting. That's why I just used a black and brown marker...looks pretty damn good to me lol.
