I am shocked actually they decided to show the skinned victim all up front and centre like that. Granted its the main draw of this pack and the main selling feature but I was sure they would at least packed it turned around with the back facing out, or at least have the the gutted parts covered somehow as to not upset those parent groups.

At least here in the States we have turned a corner on what is acceptible.

What is on the news 24/7 is 100X worse than anything a horror or action movie can come up with, so I think gruesome toys really no longer cause controversy.

When I ask my wife what horror movie she wants to watch she says the news.

Back in the day, the Tortured Souls series by McFarlane were infinitely more gruesome and they didn't have any problem displaying them. They'll probably end up attaching a PG sticker on top of the abdomen.

That was definitely another era though. Today's super-sensitive sandy nether-region society complained until breaking bad figures were removed from Toys R Us. We can't have our unique snowflakes see things on shelves that would lead to them asking questions at home! That simply isn't allowed. ...

I have no doubt they will be 'body bagged' or 'giant sticker' if they are sold at all.

Their customer service is usually WAY above & beyond.

THIS time though, I got "cookie cutter" responses and repeated unreasonable & inflexible attitude. Brought to mind the "jobsworth" appellation we use a lot in the UK.

I've spent thousands and thousands with them over the last 11 years, but this ticked me off so much I've started looking around for another company to feed our addiction. No luck yet - but I'll look again over the weekend.

At least NECA answers fans questions and has great customer service, the exact opposite of HT. I would love to see HT do that 1/4 Dutch finally. I remember they announced one like 6 years ago, and nothing. Although time doesn't matter to them.
