jajujas don't kill unarmed or hit from behind! it was cut because it doesn't fit the jajuja code of honor, and everybody knows that P1 movie was poorly based on comics and books. remember Poncho and Blaine death, only noobs like some Thomas brothers could make jajuja do that, who the hell are they to decide.
:lecture
:lol

jajaja's is a code to live by.

I have my fave Pred graphic novels that's for sure - but these 2 were not among them :)
Would you mind sharing them? It's ok if you don't want, I keep most of my favorite stuff for myself so plebs don't disrespect.

Haha, I'd actually be all in for Predator 3 where the City Hunter returns to Earth some mech arm/abdomen, like Freeza. Adam Baldwin can find old Dutch and Harrigan to team them up.
i don't think they wouldn't be able to just grow a living arm instead of mechanical. check how number of small fingers varies on their palms and feet, how additional teeth vary. and how they can eat human cows, covered with steroids and earth bacteria, and not die. and how they don't care about space radiation. sounds like a very flexible organism that could even be cloned and transplanted. might even be a reason why they don't care much about body protection.
check how every jajuja story has one-eyed, one-tasked or scarred jajujas, yet the old guy in P2 has nothing of those, not even a scar on his face. jajuja just don't have medicine yet while predators do :lol

20170301_204014.jpg20170301_210014.jpgFinally got all 3 figures from wave 17 in and I really like them. My Serpent hunter has a wonky leg so I'm trying to get TRU.com to provide a replacement, other than that I am really impressed. My spear/alien head combo was perfectly straight but I went ahead and super glued the Youngblood's hand and elbow in place to hold the spear as seen in the movie without moving. I think I'm done with the AVP line unless something really cool comes out down the road.

No worries - I have all identified "plebs" blocked so don't have to read their negativity :)

I'll get back to you later today when I grab a coffee (well - tea actually) break.

.

These are the ones I particularly enjoyed first time round AND have gone back several times to read again and still enjoyed as much.

May have been due to art, story, movie sentimentality - whatever.

There are others as well - but these are the ones I thought of first when I went down the list.

PREDATOR
  • Captive
  • Hell Come a Walkin'
  • Nemesis
  • Strange Roux
  • Predator: 1718
AvP
  • AVP - Duel
  • Alien vs. Predator (the original)

Nice collection!

Are those the 2075 Kaiser stands you are using at the back?

It's the Kaiser stands for the 7" to 8" figures, not sure what the number is but I should as many as I've bought. They cost a little but so worth the peace of mind imo. I wasn't going to get into the AVP line but Neca killed both the Aliens & preds in that line so I couldn't resist. The only line I have more figures from is Aliens between the Xenos, humans, dupes & customs.

The ones I found on Amazon (.ca and .com) were:

  • 1075 for 3.5" to 5" . . . . . obviously way too small
  • 1175 for 6" to 7" . . . . . . thought these MIGHT work but someone specifically posted they were too small for the 7" Preds & Dutch etc.
  • 2075 for 6.5" to 11" . . . . the ones we're talking about (hopefully) - ordered these as someone posted they were perfect for 7" AVP preds
  • 2175 for 8" to 12" . . . . . too big - guess they'd work for my Dredd & Snake Plissken though.

Not sure what other sizes are available, but I'd guess there is a bigger one for the 24" figures?

Fingers crossed - I'll find out in a couple of weeks (unless someone can confirm 2075 is the right size).

With shipping and pre-tax, the packs of 12 came in at $2.07 USD / $3.62 CAD per stand.

It was a custom repaint that I did a while back.

how did you mix colors to antique copper ?

which brand acrylic were you used?

and that were painted by pen or airbrush?

Will predator need to wash the original color before you repaint?

or just use Acrylic paint cover it?

I'm very interested and want to do like you!!

My TrU today received quite the large shipment of NECA products this week. You name it they had it, even the 7" Chap!

I can't believe how tall their new Predators are, very impressive in hand.

That being said the Grid 2 pack had broken off heads in just about every package on the shelf, never seen anything quite like that before, doh!

Tight twisties strike again! Bummer!

The Elder looks great! Gotta get mine tomorrow, came into my local shop. Snagged the Youngblood and got the second Genocide 2 pack from TRU today.

For those in doubt, here're some comparative shots between new CH and series 7 version. I personally don't think they offered a huge deal of improvements. I decided to display the ultimate with the unmasked head. The older masked head is much better in my opinion.

Double jointed elbows are the only difference that really stand out to me, everything else is pretty inconsequential for a 7" figure IMO. Though all the accessories and swappable heads make the Ultimate a much better figure of course.

Saw this exact same thing the other day at TRU too, Celtic couldnt wait to get out of the package to take revenge on grid for doing him in the flick lol

The joint above the bicep shouldn't be underestimated - it helps get rid of the cowboy standoff pose that all the Losties are stuck with.

You're totally right! That is a major improvement and goes miles in allowing for different looks on display. I haven't opened my Ultimate CH yet, so I guess I haven't got to notice it yet on that particular figure, but I really noticed it on my AVP preds.
