I had to do a double take as I thought it was an official NECA announcement :rotfl Great work so far :clap

Ha!
Thanks, now I just need to find some gloved hands.

i don't understand - why sculpt a new shirt and not new boots & trousers.

* * *

just checked Neca Ash (in google) - all i saw had round-nosed shoes with shoelaces. instead of pointy leather boots with a specific heal.

it's all ********, all of it....the pants, the boots...

I dunno, that Apollo Creed head is a bit on the large side...and his hair is too grown out.

Gawdamn if only they could make them all. What a display it would be.

Well, well, well.... Following the red shirt Dutch reveal, talks with Mr. Weathers have been renewed, with Carl tweeting to fans yesterday morning that he was "Waiting for NECA". Randy has since responded and, at the moment at least, he sounds hopeful.

Saw that too, May put Apollo back together in hopes of this release!

Yeah his fro is a little large but he's trying his best to cover it with that hat sticking up like that lol

As far as action movies go the most bad ass 7" toy group for me are:

1. Predator
2. Terminator
3. Die Hard
4. Robocop

Show me da money Randy.

Hoping for comparisons between the original releases and the new release versions of these Predator figures. I'd be tempted to double dip if they had better paint jobs but based on the ultimate line of figures being kinda inferior paint wise, I'm doubtful.

So, presumably all these renewed calls for Dillon have arisen out of the Jungle Briefing Dutch - therefore NECA must know that there'll be demand for not only soldier Dillon but ''shirt and tie business'' Dillon.

Somehow though, really and truly, I don't think repainted army pants and boots are going to cut it for this outfit:

Surely NECA realise that. And yet what sense would it make to have gone cheap on Dutch but not on Dillon?

So with that in mind....2.0 Jungle Briefing Dutch anyone?

My grails in no particular order of priority:

T2 John
T2 Pescadero Sarah
T2 Cleaved Man T-1000
T2 Ultimate BD T-800 (with steel rod and chains control box accessories)
T1 Ultimate Sarah
T1 Ultimate Kyle Reese
T1 2029 Kyle Reese
T1 eye surgery T-800
P1 entire special forces team
P2 Harrigan plus one or two variants
Aliens entire USCM team including Gorman, Burke, Bomber Jacket Ripley plus relevant variants of certain characters
Alien entire Nostromo crew
Alien 3 Dillon, Clemens, ''Bishop II'', other WY personnel from last scene

Not entirely fussed about Robocop in 1:10 because even the title character can't really be done a preferred level of justice at low end.

I'd certainly buy a Die Hard line but it just seems so unlikely. For whatever reason no one has made anything official since NECA's own Cult Classic figure.

So anyway...I don't ask for much :monkey3

It could also have a little to do with Mr. Weathers' latest acting gig going down the tubes :dunno - Chicago Justice was cancelled (after just 1 season) on May 22nd.

I doubt actors get a huge amount from allowing these figures, but every little helps.

yup even his $50 autograph fee last year when I met him at ComicPalooza I didn't begrudge him. 30-50 bucks for an auto is ok I'll pay that, but the celebs charging 200 bucks for one I think is a bit of a rip off (ahem Kate Beckinsale....)

Stallone is 450 for an auto and 375 for a photo and you're not allowed to touch him lol

as if he needs the money that's insane. I refuse to purchase autographs or pictures anymore when I was younger I would go to a ton of Horror Cons and I didnt mind back then $10 here $20 there to meet my idols. but over the last 10 years it's out of control. in some instances they charge you just to say "Hi"

I met 3 actors there last year, Carl, Carrie Henn and Sigourney Weaver. Honestly out of all of them, Henn was the most pensive and un-talkative, Weaver was ok, I'm amazed she let us shake her hand, but Carl was totally cool and down to earth. Would actually talk to you for a bit (there was like NO ONE at his booth) this is what I had Carl sign-

Why must you say this? :monkey2

Seriously though they could make 3 different McClane's with a lot of reusable parts. That's right up their alley.

And then...
3 years later we could get 2.0's with 90% of the same parts. :monkey3

Finally, NECA made Young Blood, which I believe would become an Elite - Dark Predator (AVP 2010)

The figure turned out well and quite impressed
