This actually makes the figure look better. Of course... NECA's prototypes and final always leaves something to be desired.

No luck again, I went to both FYE and ToysRus. Neither of them had s**t. I guess I'll just have to order a cross eyed Rambo online.

Welcome to the club! :hi5: :lol

I'm glad I wasn't the only little kid in the 80's dreaming of a Contra flick with Arnold and Sly.

That pic actually makes me want to pick up a Rambo now.

You weren't. I think most of us growing up in the 80's and 90's wanted to see that film. The creators of Contra probably wanted to see that too, which is why the characters looked like Rambo and Dutch. :lol It's a shame they couldn't put their egos aside and make a film like that when they were in their prime. It would've been HUGE. I could care less about Expendables and Escape Plan...too late, although Stallone is still in good shape, but still, not the same :(

With NECA's fondness for cheap variants, I personally would enjoy it if they did a Rambo 2 with alternate head based on the 80s cartoon, keep this same body just make a more cartoon styled head.

FedEx guy came last night and delivered Rambo, and yep.....he's lazy-eyed. :lol :gah: The paint on the rest of the figure is fantastic though.

Got my Rambo yesterday too at Toyrus. They finally got him in and had my choice of the best paint app. He is going next to my Survival version on the wall mint in package.

Just picked this up at my TRU. All seven of the Rambo: First Blood Part II figures had some kind of issue. I bought the only one with halfway decent eyes. The other six had wonky ones. One even had messy stubble. How does that happen?

Of course the only figure with acceptable eyes also had a bit of paint slop and messy nipples - the painter completely missed the sculpted nipples. I thought about leaving the store empty-handed but gritted my teeth and bought one. Sigh.

Meanwhile, across the aisle, were row after row of perfectly-painted WWE figures. It didn't matter who it was - Cena, Sheamus, Christian, Alberto Del Rio or Justin Gabriel - they all had pristine paint apps. :gah:

NECA action figures are highly overrated anyways because they rarely match the paint apps of the prototype (ruining their excellent sculpts)...not too mention how fragile and breakable they are

Must be very frustrating for sculptor at NECA (i.e. Kyle). The celebration of getting the license. Putting your heart and soul into a character that has been a part of your life growing up. And when the final product is released its the paint the ****s it all up!!!

Still no Rambos at my TRU but yet loads of new Predators and Pacific Rim. Going to a local comic shop tomorrow, they charge more but should have it.
