Need help building my first Hot Toys Predator!

Wow, sorry to hear that, but what exactly were you doing to the Predator? I mean, its his hip, something that barely gets hit in the building process. Also, maybe you took long too build it. I know that sounds crazy, but I have found that one can take too long to do something, and in the time spent, move parts a lot. The more the parts are moved the higher risk of breaking. I on the other hand don't take much time at all, like 45 mins to build Wolf, and it required very little movment of parts. Pics of the break would be nice too, maybe someone on here could analyze and tell you a great way to fix it.

Please PM me if you want me to fix this thing. I have never had any of my Hot Toys AVP stuff break because of my handling. I am a pro at these. I even have other people either send me or bring me their figures to build and fix. I can build one of these in 20 minutes with no problems. jUst ht me up. I dont chrge for building, just customzing. I like building these. Just look up threads started by me to see my work. I come from the model kit era; Hot Toys is a cake walk compared to that.

What would you recommend?

Sorry you are having problems. I use very hot water. If any plastic part has be be pulled over another, and it is loose and small enough, just heat up a cup of water in the microwave, a coffee cup amount, get it really hot, boiling even, and set it on a table, with some paper towels to dry off the part, etc. then dunk the part for a time, 30 sec or more, then use tweezers to take it out, dry it and put it on the figure area needed.
I have had red fingers from the hot material burning as I worked it, but once it is on, it will cool to fit.
Try that.
And sorry about any broken parts. Hips etc. Never had that large a break before. I would suggest drilling and using thin metal rod to reconnect such an important part, if it breaks at a joint etc.
Need to see pics to help more. Kinda generic advice I am giving here, but I know I can work a HT Pred. No worries. It can be fixed!

i used a hair dryer on mine and it went on fine.... The blow dryer or boil water should do the trick...Patience is the key to building the preds

These figures look great and all... but are just $#!+ quality.

Got the cleaner and lost preds set up.,.and waiting on spare shoulder cannon and other lil bits from another cleaner pred


Overall i found them pretty easy to build,i mean its not difficult,,just takes a lil paitence
