1- There is the body Sideshow used for this figure: its a rare 13.5'' body( later Jasons figures were produced with a cheaper,smaller body.

Wrong. The F vs. J Jason also uses the larger body. Both are the same height.

Did anyone else notice that Jason X has his exclusive Space Machete in the QTVR!
I think the QTVR is different then what is being shown at Toy Fair, SSC doesn't usually showcase Sideshow.com exclusives there.
So maybe the split hand is the exclusive?

From what I have seen from Toy fair pics, the set ups in the QTVR are different. I didn't even notice the space machete. They don't even have Skinner or Krycek from the X-files because they are site exclusives. I would just like some more pics! It seem there is a coverage hole around Sideshow.

The ultimate Jason HAS to have the large body IMO. He's a big guy.

So get part 3 or FvJ.

It is a taller one, but not 14." I think it is a 12 1/2" or 13" body.

Wow! You weren't kidding... The final value of my FvJ Jason just sold for $305!!!

The torso on FVJ is larger, the same that Kanamit had, but the arms and legs are just standard SSC. I switched out the arms and thigh pieces from a Kanamit, and now he's a wopping huge true 14". Now the clothes fit much better, whereas before his pants and sleeves were a bit long on him. I also added Hellboy's oversized boots (w/ inserts removed) and he looks perfect. $300 is too much for a screwy teddy bear. People are nuts.

I'm looking at the Part 4 Jason, and it looks great!
I really can't decide which I like better:

Well, take into consideration that JGTH was the first movie to really crap out on the entire F13 mythology and, in my humble opinion, is at the bottom of the heap - even taking Part 5 into consideration!

I agree that FvJ is possibly the best of all worlds... he's huge, has a generic looking hockey mask, and if you're putting him on display with Freddy... well, enough said. Plus he's still pretty easy to find at retail prices.

Part 4 has potential, I gotta admit. And if Parts 6 & 7 were on larger bodies, I'd like 'em a LOT more.

My suggestion would be: Gotta get it now? FvJ. Can wait a bit? Part 4.

Or you can be obsessive compulsive like me. And get 'em all.

Both!

The JGTH is a great, very original design. If it weren't for the exposed smooth plastic, it would probably be my favorite.

This new part 4 Jason is the closest you're going to get to the "classic" look without hunting for a part 3.

If I were choosing between the two, I would order the part 4 in order to nab the very sweet exclusive. However, I'd probably order the JGTH one as well to hold me over until part 4 ships
