Part 7 is definitely a better figure than part 9...

The Part VII Jason is WAYY better than part 9.. He just exudes cool. I fell in love with SSC because of this bad boy and you will love him if you are a fan. The JGTH version just seems like he has skinny legs and a hunch back... plus, his wrists stick out something awful. I still like him a lot, but he is nowhere near as cool as Part 3 or 7.

Get a 7 while you still can!!

UPDATE: I finally got around to preordering a Part 4 Jason for my birthday.
I hope I won't be dissapointed. Does anybody have any idea how long we have to wait before it starts shipping?

Here's my customized taller FVJ Jason. The height and the baginess of his clothes bpthered me, so I bashed a Kanamit to come up with this. Hope you like! The final pic is Jason on a base I bashed from another toy. I added a cut in the ground to stick his second machete.
Forgive my crappy pics.

Hey Customikey, love the way that your Jason turned out! Looks killer!

I know that this thread is close to a year old, but I'm thinking getting a Kanamit to bash my custom Vader. If you don't mind mee asking, is there any chance that you might be able to post pics of what your Jason/Kanamit body looks like bashed and with no clothing and how you went about making changes? Also is there any articulation in the Kanamit torso?

Thanks Ed

Sure, I'll try to snap some pics. Incidentally, I also did this for my custom Vader.

I pried open the lower arms and legs of the Kanamit at the seams and just replaced them with regular lower arms and legs from a standard body. The proportions are still exceelent because the height is mainly in the upper arms, thighs and torso, which has a cut joint at the waist, but no ball at the midsection.

I just realized I have another Kanamit, so I'll do a full-on tutorial when I get a chance.

Excellent! Thank you so much, I'll look forward to it!
