Need some tips: The Ultimate Jason

Jason goes to hell is the only one I passed on. Didn't like the movie or the look of that Jason.

This new Jason is very good for the human form of Jason. For Zombie Jason, I like pt. 7 because I've always liked that the bones show on that version. Pt. 6 is also very good. Try to get the exclusive if possible on any Jason, they are usually pretty cool.

Aw heck, I'll get both the JGTH AND Part 4 versions! They look different enough from each other anyway, and they can each be displayed in different rooms.

I agree that the movie JGTH was terrible, even for a cheesy slasher flick, but I just think Jason looks his most cool in it (or, at least in his ten minutes of screen time.)

BTW, has anyone ordered the Jason X figure? How do you guys think that will turn out?

I can't wait, Customikey! If you could put another 12" fig in a picture or two with the FvsJ to truly show his new, monstrous size, I'd really like to see it.

I love looking at custom jobs, but I never tried to do one myself.

Here's Jason X unmasked according to Sideshow:

Custom figures are always fun to see. I would personally never mess with a Sideshow figure, because I don't have the guts to screw up something I paid 40+ dollars on.

But in the hands of someone with real talent, custom figures can turn out GREAT and usually better than the original product!

Yes the face is accurate...near the beginning of the movie,they practice an autopsy on him in the grendel ship....there you see his face for a second...

Here's my customized taller FVJ Jason. The height and the baginess of his clothes bpthered me, so I bashed a Kanamit to come up with this. Hope you like! The final pic is Jason on a base I bashed from another toy. I added a cut in the ground to stick his second machete.

I never thought of using the Sleepy Hollow tree playset for a base for Sideshow figures but might now. That looks great!

FVJ is the only Jason I know of without a removable mask. The sculpt benefits, of course. Even the ones with removable masks, I'd never pose without them, so it made no difference to me.

I was sad when my Horseman broke down. Rubber-covered legs cracked open, sword broke, pegs broke off in horse's feet. It was time to recycle. Turned out pretty well, I think! I tried to use the base that came with the Queen Alien for a Freddyesque boiler room, but I couldn't fudge the scale.

Alas, I STILL haven't picked up a Sideshow Jason. Originally I was planning to get a JGTH and a Part 4 Jason, now I'm really starting to consider the Jason from Pt. 7. If you guys had to choose between JGTH and Pt7 Jason, which one is the winner?

Well, I've got my Pt. 7 now, and he's fanastic. I'd go with him all the way. The JGTH is taller, but lanky. Looks like a geeky fanboy in a costume.
The pt. 7 is badass all the way.
