Apparently ALIEN 5 won't happen till after Prometheus 2??? That's what is being reported....so don't get excited folks, really...

I don't know if I want this to happen anymore, not in Blomkamp's hands, unless they get a decent writer and keep Die Antwoord far far away from the project :lol

there's always cgi

No thanks.

Sorry I really enjoyed Lost In Space and Oldman was a great Smith- why this movie is attacked so much is beyond me- it's briliant compared to it's source material, very much entertaining and great to watch....
Out of curiosity I looked up Roger Ebert's old review. Man, I miss that guy.

“Lost in Space” is a dim-witted shoot-'em-up based on the old (I hesitate to say “classic”) TV series. It's got cheesy special effects, a muddy visual look, and characters who say obvious things in obvious ways. If it outgrosses the brilliant “Dark City,” the previous sci-fi film from the same studio, then audiences must have lost their will to be entertained.

I saw Chappie last night, unfortunately I must report the reviews are correct. I sat watching this mess in a very puzzled mindset. There are some cool bits, but it's just so badly judged. Like Sucker Punch without the music/girls. It's loud annoying and cliched. And the acting even, Weaver is awful. And I love Weaver in everything, even bad movies. And the robot design is so ****ing dull. We have seen every bit of this before in better movies.

I don't think I want to hear anymore SA accents for a while.

:lol

I'm just imagining that freaky South African electro spoof pop duo being in ALIEN5.

No thanks. :monkey4

Yup, sadly you're most likely right.

I just feel bad for Michael Biehn :lol Just when it seems that he's going to get a chance to be in something good again and make a "comeback", he ends up working with M Night Shyamalan 2.0.

If ALIEN 5 is not written by NB, then it might still have a chance.

Weaver is awful.
OH damn. I was going to watch it next week but, I don't want to no mo.

I'm afraid that this movie, Weaver wanting Alien 5 so much, and talking up Blomkamp A LOT are possible senile signs from Ripley.....

Poor Hicks indeed, but if the new Alien is heading straight to be worse than AVP I hope the whole thing falls apart.

If ALIEN 5 is not written by NB and they put a restraining order on Die Antwoord, then it might still have a chance.

Fixed for accuracy and I agree.
