I know, its crazy. I'm not on FB or YT. I wish I was off the grid entirely.

Once they take your profile, you can't take it back. They know you. One day, it WILL be used against you.

If u use google in any way, they still got u. Your search history is saved
If u use youtube for vids, they still got u.

This company will get tons of people to sign up, then they plan to sell your information -- this is how they are making additional money, selling your info and behavior patterns -- and then the company folds, you have no asset, but the company continues to sell your information as long as its valuable.

So does facebook, google, youtube,
Worst thing they do it for free......

You wanna know something cool that facebook does?

If u are logged in on facebook, and then if you check any other website that has a facebook share feature, then facebook logs every other website or article you ever visit.
Could even be ****. Anything that has a facebook connect.
Then they store that info and sell it. Pretty cool right?

if you used your phone either google or facebook would have saved that. or your computer. but it is mostly facebook. if you have the facebook app then facebook does look into your messages and stuff. the app searches inside your phone

OMG guys - calm down - lol.

Most of the ads that pop-up are down to cookies placed on your laptop/PC/phone that websites use to track activity, along with adware.

If you don't want that because you're a tinfoil-hat-head then don't allow cookies to be saved or delete them once a day, and block/delete adware.

Also get Disconnect, Ghostery, and uBlock Origin.

Nothing is truly deleted. How else does the government find all this stuff when they confiscate computers?

Because some folks are not very good at removing audit trails.

And yes - you CAN "completely delete" stuff from your device.

Now - your ISP keeps a COMPLETE log of sites you've visited - so if you're up to something you'd be embarrassed about going public with - you'd have to take further steps :)
