New 3 3/4 Inch Marvel Universe Line...

I don't know if this was discussed yet in this thread, but a green Hulk with improved headsculpt is being released in the 2nd wave of Secret Wars 2-packs with 80s Cyclops. He looks great from what I've seen. I passed on the previous one because of the crappy headsculpt, but will get this one. I just hope QC improves a bit from wave 1 of the comic packs.

These haven't impressed be much, but the newest wave of Marvel Legends 2 packs have been great! I've got a SHIELD army in the works

I dunno, even for all the small flaws (to me) this line is rockin! Right now before me I have the Spidey repaint, Negative Zone Thing and Torch, Secret Wars Wolvie, Torch, Cap America and Klaw, Hobgoblin,Silver Surfer, Green and Hobgoblin. Throw in my Marvel Legends Galactus and it's a nice set so far. The Secret Wars packs is where it's at, even though right now my Cap Americas upper arms are reversed I still need to get the SDCC 4 Pack, Namor, Electro and the new wave of Secret Wars packs. Then for next year... JEAN GREY!! Sure the line could be a little better but if you pick and choose you should do fine. Only thing that REALLY rubs me wrong is $50 bucks for 616 Fury.

Is there a difference between the SDCC Captain America from the 4 pack and the Secret Wars Captain America?

You still can get the Fury for free if you subscribe for @ least 3 months of marvel digital comics. So Fury will cost $24 with the subscription. I'm thinking about doing it that way. I don't understand why people pay $50-$60 for it. Check out marvel.com/nickfury, once you subscribe they will give you a coupon to print out to send for a free Fury, but you still need to pay the postage.

The SDCC cap's white areas are a bit "sepia" toned. An off white I guess. The Secret Wars pack is pure white though.

Don't people know how to get Fury? I mean why spend $40-$50 for it on ebay?

I just put up a lot of these in the for sale section... some hard to find ones included: deadpool, gambit, ms marvel retro chase.

Not sure which of the new ones i'll be picking up, but the Iron Man movie line looks really promising.

Just purchased a SDCC Captain America from the Invaders set for $15 shipped. I'm now looking for the Ultimate Captain America, I now regret not getting it when I saw it at walmart.

I got some of those toys and man....I miss Toybiz so much....
DC is kicking ass with DCUC...

I agree, ML went down hill when Hasbro took over. But they did make some nice figures. Just got the ML 2 pack of Nick Fury and Ninja Hand and a while back the 2 pack of Ultimate Captain America and Nick Fury. They are nicely made. For the 3 3/4 ones. I just want the Captain America ones, he's nicely made, plus a few others like Deadpool and Hulk.

And DCUC is kicking ass

I just picked up the Secret Wars Captain America vs Klaw. Hasbro really has bad QC on these figures as always mentioned. No matter how much I search for a figure with a nice paint job, I cant find one. But I still plan on getting all the Secret Wars comic packs. It would be cool if they continue the next comic line from the Civil War series. I also found out that the Winter Soldier was the #1 pick for the fans choice poll. I hope they make a 6" figure for him too along with Ultimate Hawkeye.

Hopefully the Gigantic Battles will hit walmart soon.

I have to agree with how bad the ML figures got once Hasbro took over...


...BUT the new two pack I must admit are great. The extra heads and accessories make the figures much better. They're great for army builders.


As far as the 3 3/4 line goes I really don't like them at all. I bought the first two waves of MU but ended up selling them. I just don't like this scale for comic book figures. For the record,I don't like the DC IH figures either.

I have the Secret Wars 2 packs but only because of the nostalgia of the line. I would love to get this line in ML-scale but it's painfully obvious that isn't going to happen. I also picked up the Spidey and His Amazing Friends 3 pack. Gotta love the 80's.

I picked up the rest of the secret wars 2 pack this weekend and my Nick Fury came in the mail yesterday. Nice for a free offer figure, not worth the $50+ people are spending on it.

the only thing i do not like about these is how pricey they are for 3 3/4 figures.
