It's NOT red Brothers. It's a "burnt orange" color. Again, I saw it from 2 feet away (front and back) at Arclight.

Wow it's unbelievable how positive the response about this figure is on this board. While I will buy this solely because I am a hardcore fan,and certainly there are many cool feature, but there are also many complaints which are very valid. Releasing this only after nearly 1 year? As I quote from another board member gashapon at toy-world.com.hk, it's like buying a dvd and then to know some months later there's a bonus disc feature released and then another 6 months later there's the ultimate collectors edition.
Sure, nobody minds this (and indeed will be thrilled) that this will be released at a later stage down the road (maybe after a year later), but certainly not this close.
Nevertheless, HotToys should be happy that at least the foreign market is going really strong.

But this does happen with DVD's all the time bro, there are like 6 different versions of Halloween. I do not agree with it but it seems to always happen, maybe not in as close a time frame but it seems to happen all the time. In many different forms of commerce.

Thanks The Terminator... that's exactly what I am saying.. I don't mind they doing this in a different time frame.. for example a few years down the road.. and heck it's very cool to the collectors too if they did so... On the other hand, I just have to accept that it's a business after all, welcomed or unwelcomed, they certainly have their specific purposes and I do hope the hardcore base (who btw, bought ALL the TDK line) might gain a great deal out of their hard -earned money (whether working or begging from parents) for the Joker figure.
I would really really want a batman with solar eyes and sticky bomb gun and the back pack + bruce wayne in motorcyle leather jacket. That will be a cool DX package...

Which is why I think it may just be a new coat in this set. It'd be a shame to release the v1 clothes again without improving on all the flaws (veclro, collar closure) from the other elements of the costume.

I honestly think we are getting a new head as well. I mean it could be just wishful thinking but it really does look different and not just that but if it was not a new head sculpt why would you cover it up when we all can see the rest of the figure.
If the tilt and position of the head is any indication then it might at least be the same BR Joker head with a different piant job. The eye position on the BR head wouldn't work for the pose in that pic.

Jacket looks to be the same gray color as before, so the jacket's not new. Can't really tell if the coat lining is burnt orange or not. Nor can I tell what head that is -- looks like the BR head to me there.
But clearly the hands are new and the grenade rig is there, so its just a matter of time to see what exactly we're getting.
Seems odd to get just two new hands and a coat with grenade rig.

I'm not going to read all the pages of the thread, so if this has been answered; my apologies.
So can we assume we are getting two full figures in this set? Meaning two true types? Literally two complete figures as if they were bought separate? If we are........why didn't Hot Toys just release the Police Joker on his own and the should have been V1 Joker on his own?
Are they releasing them together just to promote the DX line which seems pointless to me if it is two complete figures......or because they weren't sure how well the Police Joker would sell, so they decided to throw in another Joker to make it sell?
