I've been after a Bank Robber Joker just for the headsculpt, I'll wait to see what this one is about... and then decide...
I only want one ultimate Joker.

samesies. i held off on the first 2 because i figured ht would eventually make another one.
it'll be cheaper to get stuff from all of them once this gets parted out on ebay.
as far as i can tell, the br joker has the best sculpt, so that seems like a good place to start.

I almost bit on a BR Joker -- but I can't justify 2 separate $150 figures to get the head and the suit. Hopefully this will be the "ultimate Joker" I've been waiting for.

I almost posted something similar. The first box art released is with cop joker as Joker Police Officer Version the new version has purple coat joker as Joker 1/6 scale collectible.

I figured it meant nothing beyond two sided box art.

Just doesn't look like he's smiling there -- if so its subtle.

Both teaser pics from the front and the back won't show the sculpt, they just highlight this new grenade rig set up. I think at best, what will be packed in, is a repainted Bank Robber sculpt. I also don't think we're getting the full set of clothes with this guy. If they were planning that, I think the only way they'd do it is if they totally remade the tie, shirt and blazer as well which this new picture seems to contradict.

The only things you need for an "ultimate" Joker are simply a pencil and the grenades: definitely not enough to warrant another $175 purchase.

I'm totally baffled why this is not the Nurse Joker figure we all obviously want much more then another normal (or cop for that matter)Joker.

The orange lining in the purple coat (and blazer) is supposed to be satin burnt orange, not blood red. The coat itself is suppose to be a WAY lighter shade of purple compared to the nigh black we got. The collars sit way too high and look goofy on every picture posted except for something like 2 users.

And that's just the purple coat. The tie is garbage, the shirt didn't come out well at all in print and not being able to connect around the neck and the blazer is gray instead of blue. The shoes are also high topped, and the socks are wrong.

Decent first try, but that's why companies like hot toys are good enough to try again. Honestly, when the Godfather by hot toys comes out it will make the V1 (no upgrades) look like it was made 4 years ago. I think it's great that Hot Toys is offering us the CHOICE to improve our collectibles so they might not stick out like sore thumbs amongst newer purchases.

I can tell by comparing a BR Joker head to that pic, that it is indeed the same head (by the hair behind his ear). If it is a resculpt, its just his face...

There's also another option, perhaps there will be a new headsculpt, and it's still in work, so they're using the BR as a stand in and hence the blurred and shadowed pictures.

This DX thing is feeling, rushed.

First teaser, Cop Joker is the clear title of the figure. Almost a month later, we hear about a fabric mailer tease to a new item called MMSDX, then we get a new image marketing this new product type, with a tease shot of more goodies to be included, but only the grenade rig being 100% conclusive.

I'm thinking that the add on goodies may be a last minute decision on HT's part the way things are kinda adding up. Yulli's said in an interview she can do a sculpt in a couple weeks, so they may be playing the tease game to buy her time.

Until full revelation images surface, there's a lot of room for possibility with this figure.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting the cop joker, it's way more forgivable than the V.1 sculpt. For the new purple suit version, it seems like a new figure itself judging by the hands. I don't have the V.1 one yet, and I can't wait to get it. But if this new purple suit joker has a new head sculpt and comes with the previous accessories, new socks with correct coat purpleness, and if the grenades are removable from the coat, I can wait for this one. I also hope the coat has the correct slit lengths.

It's not the same head, if you take the BR Joker head and look at it at the same angle in the Cop pic you can see the hair is different.

All the figures are nice, I think most of the complaints come from people who can't afford anymore. If I bought the purple suit joker today, I'd be complaining about this new one because it's another $200 with a few changes. By the way, it has been said the only way to make the superb joker figure is to get both V.1 and 2. Now this new sculpt is here, I won't have to worry about switching heads.

You're right - I was looking just at the pic of him behind the glass... in the pic with the cop joker - it is clearly NOT the BR or V1 head.... HMMMM...
