Also i dont see it as a matter of Hot Toys moving too fast, with their releases, i think it's more of, just, they are getting so damned good and pioneering the 1/6th, that, EVERY one of their releases, is must have, you simply don't see any that aren't worth buying, and considering the price of each, it gets REAL expensive REAL fast. It's pretty incredible that they just keep on releasing quality, quality figures though, and a very vast range of them, i'm happy as larry, but then again, i have barely moved out of the dark knight line, so i'm still in my comfort zone. I'm feeling for the guys and gals that just cant say no, and have a massive list of purchases to be made. I cringe when i think of how much i've spent on this line alone! but i reckon you do have to draw the line, as amazing as they each are, i would recommend picking wisely, and not overdoing it, especially with the current economical issues

Mine have always been like that....I've even been asked to change them at times (I miss Jessica dancing...) usually my AVs too but I'm representing Dr. Manhattan for a bit until I find something to replace it.
I've ordered from this seller a while back, poor communication but the product came perfectly packaged as described. A lot of people use him.

You and I are in the same place. I'm starting to think about cancellations today, and I'm afraid this trend is going to make me rethink "V1" figures, too, and just start waiting things out. I've already ruled out any Terminator and Predator figures because there is so much coming from HT that I want. This new and improved Joker just makes me regret my V1 purchase entirely, and to me that was a lot of money wasted just because HT wanted to cash in fast rather than get him right the first time.
In addition, this DX line might hurt Hot Toy's sales if they keep doing this for every line. IMO, an exclusive or two is a great idea. However, now I have to start thinking about skipping some V1's in the hopes of a DX release. This just complicates things. My money is not infinite. I've already canceled my IronMan MK II & III for PREDATOR figures, HELLBOY and ABE for Terminator figures..... I can't help but wonder what I'll have to cancel next.
I would have gladly bought all of them if they were more spaced apart.

im thinking its just the cop joker because all they said about their DX line so far is that they use new techniques to give the fig a more realistic look, and the pic of the k=joker in the background could just be of the V2 head sculpt on their V1 body of the joker with his jacket open

If this 'deluxe' set sells well (with the current enthusiasm, I'm guessing HT will sell these out in a matter of days), it won't surprise me if HT will ^^^^ us over yet again with a triple deluxe set in a matter of months with a ultimate joker, introgation sculpt joker and nurse joker set.
HT is laughing all the way to the bank, while all their long time fans are screwed.

That looks incredibly realistic, but from that picture I can't 100% see Ledger. I think it is just the angle because the side profile from the other teaser looked dead on. We'll know soon enough when they release full pics and specs.
So he'll definitely at least come with the purple coat. Hot Toys said that some forumites had guessed right about their fabric clue and their is another Joker in the background. Because of the pose I agree that it will probably be the coat with the grenade rig (which will be sweet!). The background is darkened, so I can't tell but I hope the coat is much lighter than the V1. The Mob meeting scene was pretty well lit so the Joker's coat looked almost as bright as the Medicom version. I can't really tell if that is the BR sculpt, but it almost looks like it could be a smiling sculpt. I hope so!
Also that Garand looks badass!

The way I look at it is this, the V1 Joker was really nice and I would've been completely happy with it if nothing was improved. I thought a slight paint tweak did wonders.
BR joker is awesome and I wouldv'e have bought it regardless of it coming with the second Joker sculpt. That was a big bonus to me and added nothing to the cost of the figure.
Cop Joker looks good and I may or may not get it. If HT includes a "mob version" coat, new sculpt and hands with it then Wow! That's going above and beyond a bonus, especially for the thousands of people who were going to buy it before even knowing about it.
Just because HT is offering all the little upgrades with other figures at no additional cost really isn't any reason to be getting upset in my mind.
Would it have been great to get it perfect the first time? Sure! But which would it be better if HT threw their hands up and said oh well or doing what they're doing now and offering these upgrades with other figures at no additional cost.
If they would have come out with a completely new and improved version a couple moths after the V1 release then I could see it causing problems.

Seriously now, the joker was never meant to look like heath ledger. I'm happy with this sculpt. The only problem is that it's gonna be another $200 for me and I still haven't got the purple suit joker. I'm definitely getting this one. I don't see what's not to like, he doe's look like the was he was seen in that scene. Did anyone notice the Joker was visible in one shot of the scene during the mayor's speech before they actually attempt to shoot him? According to CoolToyReview.com the picture of the Joker in the background is suppose to hint a new version of the coat that features the grenades.
