It was a tricky situation as if he'd have lost his patience it would have been all over the papers the next day. Credit to him for keeping his cool.

I take it the memorial service was a nice celebration of Nick's life?

For all my grumbling about the lack of a Classic character in the initial Big Chief lineup I can at least be somewhat confident that Tom will be the first Classic Doctor made should the line last long enough to make Classic characters.

Barring the same level of eccentricity as CO when it comes to character choices fans of McGann are probably SOL

Hope you guys are going for a series 6 outfit. Thta jacket is much more visually interesting.

It will be interesting to see how well Greggo's beautifully hand painted prototype translates into production. I would assume there will be at least some reduction in quality.

Contrary to what Nu-Who fanboys think, Tom Baker is still HUGELY popular in the USA, probably moreso than Smith or Tennant combined and he was the first Doctor many Americans ever saw via PBS. His impact on their popular culture is there for all to see,

Family Guy is well known for making refrences to obscure aspects of pop culture that very few people remember or understand. Did anyone under the age of 30 really get jokes about The Great Space Coaster, Surfside 6, or Sany Duncan's glass eye? Or are all these hugely popular in the USA as well?

There isnt a chance in hell that Baker is more popular than Tennant or Smith seperatly, let alone combined. Those PBS reruns were 20 years ago and barely anyone remembers them.
