So when it was said that BSC was a small British 'start up' company...what were people expecting? Seriously folks, there are two or three people that have to rush around and take care of more or less everything. They may have one or two members of admin staff, but that's really it!
They are not huge like HT or SSC, and even SSC grinds to a halt on Saturdays/Sundays, whereas BCS are out at the shows and conventions making themselves known and establishing contacts.
Did they make a mistake with the emails? Well you said they apologised so, yes they did. Because of that mistake, was a reply much later in getting to you than it should have been? Clearly.
But that is what will happen if you get just three guys trying to cover absolutely all of the bases, they get stretched really thin.
'Sloppy' at least to me, reads like "...could do better but really could not be bothered" But this situation reads more like "Mistakes made, genuine apology given, criticism taken on board, not to be repeated"
Otherwise, they would have admitted nothing and just gone with "Not Our Problem" as many others would do.
