Re: New Doctor Who 1:6 and 1:4 from Big Chief Studios!
I'm not just speaking for myself, just go back and read the fb posts around the time when they started shipping out orders. Plenty of people had similar experiences.
Last time I knew 2 or more things equals a multiple. But anyway, I had personal contact with them. They asked me to notify them if I'm cancelling and I did so. I didn't have to do that but felt obliged to do so. Just like they should do when they get an e-mail explaining to them that their figure they just got was missing a key accessory. I got a personal response back at that time as well. I'm not sure how many ways I can explain "personalized."
Firstly, with the greatest respect UW54, you need to stop talking about other's problems. Talk about your own and maybe we can determine what can be done, if anything, to help you. It commendable that you are interested in others but I feel that there has been a slight crossing over of both your and their problems.
Only two emails? Sorry, I thought you said multiple emails. That's really not a lot. Did you actually cancel in the end then? Also, not entirely sure what you mean when you say a 'personalised' email. Any email to you would be directed to you by name anyway, so I don't really get you.
What I can say (if you mean what I think you mean) is that if you have an email from an actual person and not an automated response, then you should always answer that email to keep the conversational thread intact. I think NICEMAN fell foul of opening up a second line of communication over the single same issue. I think that, what with all the traffic they must be trying to deal with, a sudden or unexpected change to the subject heading may help towards getting a bit buried.
I originally ordered an AMY regular figure, and wanted to change it to the Signature Edition version. I cancelled my original one via email, in favour of the amended one with no problem, so I have not experienced a problem myself.
As to order of fulfilment. If they are using some sort of internally prioritised fulfilment system, which gives them their correct order, then maybe they were confused and had no answer to give you on Facebook..?
