I'm hearing a lot of complaining here in a very short of space of time from one or two people who are talking as if they've been ripped off, when actually they have only been waiting for a few days for a response.
Maybe BC are on holiday...? People in america might not realise it, but the school half-term holiday started here on wednesday and will continue for another week. Or maybe they are urgently checking to see how widespread the bow tie staining problem is (never heard of it before the US consignment was shipped). Or maybe they are urgently trying to arrange replacements.
Anyone who paid by Paypal has 45 days to make a claim so they will, without question, get their money back if that's what they want. You should be patient, wait, try again in a week, if you hear nothing back in the next -I don't know, 14-21 days - then by all means make a claim. But I just can't imagine BC not dealing with your problem within 45 days.
Either way, let's not have people whining on about it continuously. Whine about it if you hear nothing in a month's time.
As for missing buttons or broken braces, well, unfortunately these are extremely accurate and therefore delicate high-end figures, some buttons fell off ours pretty much instantly, as for the braces, fix it yourself if you can. The red marks on the HS I would take more seriously. Hopefully BC have factored in some replacements in their costings and will replace the heads. In wanting this dealt with I'd be in agreement with posters here if my kids figure had those issues. But - give them a chance.
All this 'they've expanded too quickly stuff'... I'll take it seriously when the people making those comments can show me when they've started a company from scratch and produced a Hot Toys quality figure on their first attempt, working not from the Orient but from Birmingham UK. Bottom line, if BC weren't making these figures nobody would be, and nobody would be doing it as well.
