New Emma Frost PF?

I don't like AH artwork. but I do like the Lara croft pf statue. Actually that print was good too. I'm not a huge fan of him but I admit some is ok. I prefer Jim lee, silvestri, mcfarlane, and liefeld.

On a side note why does it seem like so many amricans are ok with manga but then gets offended when they use the art style on American superheroes? I see on YouTube any Japanese made version animated series like iron man, x men, etc. The comments were crazy. Many felt that the Japanese art should never be used on the american comic superheroes. Even all the 80s toons thundercats, gijoe, voltron, are all Japanese artists. I think its very cool! But I see a lot of haters out there. Why?

There are just some people who don't like manga style art. I'm one of them.

You know what's funny? Most peeps panned the 1st Emma PF something fierce. The number 1 complaint is the cartoony look of her face. A face that had a heavy manga influence! The AH Emma looks as hot as hell. The only real complaint on that piece is usually about the scale being 1/5.

You say that because you don't own it, and probably haven't seen it in person. The AH comiquette is gorgeous and still one of SS's sexiest sculpts to date

Most definitely. There is a reason she commands such a high price in the aftermarket even after all these years. She is every bit as gorgeous as you say she is to many collectors.

It's just such a weird pose, the "costume" is really inappropriate and I struggle to see why someone would want this statue on their shelf. Personally, I'd be embarressed to display this, but I can appreciate why some people really like it. AH has produced some really good quality sculpts like Tomb Raider and Mystique.

Each to their own I guess.

same for me don't get me wrong I love big ****s. I think to me the whole package in not my cup of tea. I seen this in person it was not bad. But I will wait for a new PF.

It is spot on to the print. The costume is based off of her original appearance illustrated by John Byrne. In her 1st appearance she was a major villain and belonged to the Hell Fire club organization. The Hell Fire club was made up of rich and powerful individuals and when they gathered at the club, their needs were well taken care of. All of their needs. That is why the women of the club dressed in provocative clothing. Her overall appearance is very faithful to her source origin. As for her face, I think it looks beautiful. Like you said, to each their own.

Emma has always been a sexual person. She has used sex on many occasions to get what she wants. She has ALWAYS dressed and behaved in a sexual nature. Her pose gives us a glimpse of that Emma. The Coms pose shows Emma in full seduction mode. I think the sculptor and artist captured her character perfectly. Obviously, many other collectors agree since the aftermarket prices on the Com are quite healthy.

None of what we say makes either of us right or wrong in our positions. Liking or not liking a statue will always boil down to our own personal tastes.
