I have been fairly paitent with this, but it's really starting to piss me off. Either announce that the line is DEAD and that nothing else will be produced or anoounce something already.

In short, $hit or get off the pot.

I dno't have anything from this line because I'm waiting for someting I like. Not to say Lurtz is crap, just not for me. I want some wizard action! I want some ladys too SS! Why nothing? WTF? CMOOOOOOOON!

The most frustrating thing is finding out that one of the characters is a woman, and unless it's Eowyn in armor (which we already have in polystone), that means it's not an armored character. I would expect that to take some extra time so I'd love to know what the excuse is to a 13 month gap between announcements.

Does this actually surprise anyone? I'm not sure which is worse, the waiting, or Sideshow's standard corporate line that all is well with LOTR and it remain's an important licence. If I hear that again I think I'm gonna.... :yuck

I just noticed that the title of this thread is "New Fellowship PF", not "New LOTR PF".

It's finally clear that satisfying the "Must! Get! All! Nine! Walkers!" crowd is going to determine the fate of this and every other LOTR line in existence.

Which is kinda sad, as the Fellowship was actually important to the story only for about half of one movie/book.

Thankfully SS is also a business, and as such I seriously doubt they will concentrate strictly on "fellowship" members. Bad guys are big seller's and I can't see that making much financial sense. As we can see with the only "fellowship" member released so far, Frodo hasn't exactly set the world on fire :naughty

i really think SS needs to get going with the 12" polystone statues. i do not have room for these PFs:monkey2

The days of 12" polystone statues are, alas, behind us.

BTW, I also don't have any of the LOTR pieces SS have produced on their own after the split with Weta. Don't collect action figures, LS busts are too huge for me, and of the two PFs I only like the way Lurtz came out, but he's not a character I particularly wish to own. And don't get me started on the Diorama.

Funnily enough, I'd be very interested in the LOTR PFs and Dioramas -- just like with their SW counterparts -- IF I had anything resembling a selection of items to choose from.

Patience my friend, in about 10 years you just may have your wish! :D

BTW, should you ever start collecting the PF's Lurtz is a "must have". Not only is he by far best PF ever done [ I know, there's only two! :lol ], IMHO he is one of the best LOTR pieces ever done.
As for the trinkets...errr... dioramas, I just can't seem to get excited about 4" statue's no matter how well sculpted. And although the price for this 1st diorama is great at only $80 I can pretty well guarantee the paint job will be anything but.
If, in the next year or two SS produces another diorama with regular sized character's in the 8" range perhaps my opinion will change.
