I didn't know HCG was coming out with a newer version..

btw- I tried to look for a thread on this and couldn't find one.

Here's the product info:

The 1:1 Scale T-800 Endoskull Prop Replica features electronic light-up eyes and plays the licensed theme song from the Terminator 2 Movie. Other details include chrome finish and acrylic teeth. Extra additional features not previously released on the prior edition are 2 blue LED lights that glow from the neck upward towards the head adding an ominous glow to the skull. With the upgraded speakers and official theme song, this collectible piece will be sought after by every Terminator fan.

Its supposed to arrive in Feb.

Who's ordering one ?

I knew about this one for few weeks now, and there is also a short video demonstrating the light up/sound feature.

Looks great, I love the new plaque design, and looks like they have better teeth, at least on this picture/prototype.
Also, HCG says in other description that sound feature is much improved quality wise.

Here, the video:

NOTE: Video loads slow, so give it some time!

What are the variants? Who knows where I can order one from?

Variants as in original HCG 1:1 skull, battle damaged version of the same 1:1 skull, version 2 of the 1:1 skull (everything is the same, except sound feature isn't some generic war theme inspired by the movie, but the official theme, and base has blue LEDs installed), as of now, no words if there will be Battle Damaged version of the second version skull.
Then 1:2 skulls that were same as 1:1 skulls, both clean and BD. And then second versions of the same skulls with different front plaque that was back lit.
Then 1:4 skulls, both clean and BD in two versions.

This new skull can be preordered here: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TOY10394&mode=retail

Thanks for posting the video and pics, Toni :clap

This bust looks to be a nice improvement..hopefully the teeth will look as good as the proto!

the added blue lights on the base is a nice touch too

I have to agree, in my opinion, nicest nameplate so far. simple, but classy!

And FelMar, unfortunately, judging by the pictures I have posted, teeth look pretty much the same as previous version, but we'll see once it starts selling, and people post some in-hand pictures!

actually i think the HCG teeth are accurate. was watching salvation on blu-ray and they had this bonus section where they showed the studio
1: 1 endo. I took a pic using my camera phone.

The endo seems to have the same crappy teeth :lol

That's because crew in T:Salvation used SideShow endos..
That is SideShow endo, and SideShow endo has skull made from same molds as HCG/Toynami (as they all came from Paul Francis originally)..

Just to make it clear :)

Is this the same as the previous one from HGC but with the blue leds now ? What was rthe origina; price on the 1st one when released ?

Thank you

Yes, it is the very same as the previous one, only difference is, this one has blue LEDs in the base, and sound feature plays official Terminator theme (while previous version played some future war inspired theme)

Original retail price on the first one was $599.
