Speaking for myself, I was posting in a thread and two old timers started on about my low number of posts. I just laughed at that because waving an epeen boner, based on a high number of posts here, isn't something that means squat to me.

I'm sure there's tons of people here who barely post, but that doesn't make their views are irrelevant or they have nothing to add.

Actually, it was because you were advocating a bull**** position, and with the kind of authority one expects from someone who has established their credibility. It wasn't much of a surprise to discover that you're new here, so that fact became a point of amusement.

Exactly. Plus, I've noticed a trend with some new members, that after their accounts are approved by Dave, they show themselves as argumentative and "in-your-face" from the get-go; for whatever reasons, I can't understand. I mean, it makes sense, that if you're new to a discussion forum, you'd want to make friends and get to know some folks (and vice versa) before taking the path of a keyboard warrior :lol.
