Can't say I'm too dissappointed, but I never had high hopes that it would be something really, really cool.

Scarecrow looks awesome, but I'm guessing he and that demon batman are a combo pack, so extra expensive, so a pass for me :lol

350 clams if my Japanese isn't too rusty.

The 1st figure is the main villain of Japanese manga called 20th century boy. I think this is the movie version of him. Don't know how he is related to spoon as I'm not a fan of this title (and I hate it even more thanks to this announcement lol).

what the faaakkk. From those I only want scarecrow and the MJ Beat it, but the figure doesn;t look like Mike at all.

And what the hell with the first figure ? easy pass on this one, as for the Demon Bat, garbage.

And if I'm not mistaken they are expensive as a trip to the moon. $220 for Mike and the Medicom wannabe and $344 for Scarecrow and the Bat-waste of plastic.

Conversion done using XE.COM, hehe.

At those prices, PASS.

looking at that scarecrow, i guess it's official now. seb's custom versions are better than hot toys :lol i have to get one of those masks from him.

Why not release a Demon Bats head to go with an OC Bats DX? Why serve up an uninspired Scarecrow figure with a barely modded OC Bats and charge 350 bucks for it? Oh, yeah right, that's why...

The first one seems to be very popular in Japan
Just Google 20th Century Boys Friend on Image search. People have to realise that Hot Toys are not just about keeping Westerners happy.
As for the second figure, the Beat MJ is pricey, but that's only going to go up in price if you buy it, as it's a rare figure, and a popular one too.
The last one is a little disapionting, but a Keaton Batman coming out the same time as Superman would have been a little unfair for people like me who are on a budget.

I don't get bothered by releases that don't interest me, I just see it as a chance to take a break from collecting

i remember when the 20th century boys live action movie came out in japan. it was frikking everywhere. i bet this one will sell better than the batman begins stuff at this tokyo event.

i guess they indicate it's more for a japanese market with the edition size. 500 for everywhere outside japan, whereas both the MJ and begins sets are 2000 outside japan.

There is a bent spoon in the accessories so I'm gathering it's something in the property itself? HT is an Asian company so I don't fault them for doing licenses that are Asian it's only logical but I think Keaton and Matrix fanboys will be a little sore after another kick in the teeth from getting their hopes up

A bent spoon just screams Matrix. If I was a massive fan I'd be dissapointed now to say the least , I was almost 100% confident we would see 1/6 Matrix figures very soon.

Loving that Bat Man set, hope it leads to other 'Begins' figures.

So it was Beat It after all, well i must stop overthinking these HT teasers:lol I am very skeptical with that expression,i sure hope they get it right.
I was pretty sure it wasn't gonna be Batman either, that Batman version is so lame to spend 170$ on,is this gonna be 2 different releases or maybe for the first time a 2-pack,judging from the Price i think it might be.

Who is that first figure supposed to represent? And why the medicom Toyish look?
