Fett's gear is suited on a dragon body with the shoulders shaved down… the costume is weathered and the armor touched up. the compromise came with the feet (they had to be shaved down)... either a stand or a good sense of balance is required.

But ideally, no figure with a $150 pricetag should require any modification whatsoever, IMO. I agree that Medicom should redesign their figure bodies, and I also think they need to drop the whole "stylized" thing. Either that, or drop the prices.

I would've bought way more Medi's than I have, if they either were in the right scale, or less sylized, or cheaper. I really wanted to get one of these Fetts, but knowing I'll have to put extra time and money into them after the $150, just to make them the right size, really makes waiting for Sideshow's versions seem like a better option.

That custom job does look nice, though, automaton!

And I'm sure Fett is quite awesome. We all know what Yoda would say, but I still can't get past my figures being out of scale... Don't want my Fetts to look like shorties next to my clones!

Oh well, I guess it's not that much of a difference anyway. I may just have to get Boba at least at some point....

Yeah the new RAH Body's should be fine. You got the older version. (nice fig, but on the older body)

The shoulders and hips break if you look at them funny, so just be extremely careful when posing him. I sold mine because of this. While the newer bodies are rumored not to have this issue, my Mutt Williams body fell to pieces as I was porting it over to a Slim TrueType. So at this point, I have little faith that my new Boba will be any different when he arrives.

Different story. I'm still not 100% but after playing with my Han for a good bit my worries subsided. (you can just tell the difference) There's like a different texture as well as a tight/sturdiness that wasn't there before. (just feels like better plastic, time will tell all)

No, I passed on both, but I'll be able to tell when Boba arrives. Mutt's body had that weird texture all over it too. Different type of plastic (almost sparkly looking) but the hip broke just like the others. I'm thinking it's probably a game of roulette and they'll have issues until they relocate the anchor points for the limbs.

At the very least, since this Boba Fett is brand new, there should be fairly solid support from Medicom in the event that the bodies have not been improved.

But I sure hope that they are (improved, that is).

I know folks over at medi-world emailed the ____ outta medicom in 2008 about the issue and the when Han and anakin came out it seemed better. (whether that did any good i have no idea)
