no matter what their motives are, weather it's to recoup their losses to stay in business or whatever, it's really shady behavior. first they raise the ES then behind everyone back they start selling more of the green versions. it's not good customer service.

there are going to be arrows in the guy this time are you kidding me? this make it the most rare of any Medusa out there. a select few of the green have something that the old one doesn't have? i want one!

I have gone over this like a million times, I'm not sure if your reading all this.
We as a company have the right to make as many number of statues we promised to you the first time.
Why not make the 500?

Only we did not make them the first time around, so now we make what we have
It's bad business if we make more than 500

It's not that hard to add a few arrows to a sculpt Jacob

Jacob, we raised the 50 to 70, and still we get people begging us for more. I'm not sure if we have anymore options but try to offer customers what we have.
The factory never sent out any of the rest of our stuff, and I'm here to tell you it's not good business for us to just eat our losses.

I'm sure you want us to bring out more products, right?

Im ready to have ARH Studios move on to the new production runs. Ares is awaiting us, Poseidon is not far behind and Zeus is starting. Alexander the Great, has to be completed and Red Sonja is starting negotiations for a license.

Regarding Medusa all I know is I did not buy the original green Medusa because I did not like the color..not because she was 'sold out'. I never buy anything that I dont want in my house unless I like it and it suits where I display it. Dont care if it is a grail or rare...

If I did like the Green Medusa I would not buy the Rattle Version just for the sake of having the Medusa...I would try my best to find the one I wanted...

I purchased the new rattle medusa because I love the color and it suits perfect on my corinthian columns where she will be displayed...which have a simular color as her...she will look great there near all the rest of my greek collections

I hope everyone gets what version they want...never settle for second best in my opinion...

i don't think that either of these are second best. it all comes down to preference. the sculpt is just so amazing that i will be happy no mater which version i get. i just think that the green is more "historically accurate" and therefore is the one i want more. i've never seen or heard of Medusa being depicted as a rattlesnake.

Very true. I like the rattlesnake because it is new concept and I don't think we'll see it again from anywhere. and I like the color scheme more but the green is more true to the source Medusa.

I just found this out recently! We knew that we had some back at the factory still but not many and as what condition, no one knew. But now they are predicting we can do replacement parts. But still not enough to advertise for whole sale.
Still, nothing wrong with getting the first one, if you can find one
I got a first one and put my own order for a rattle too
Don't have a clue as where I'm going to put it!

i think that's where i'm coming from as well. it's totally cool for you guys to finish your run of 500 to make back some money you lost from breakage. i just would have liked to have heard about it. if your giving them to people that are on the waitlist for the rattle as an alternative then why not to somebody that already put money down?

i really like both versions and if i have the ability to switch to the green i don't even know for sure if i will. i'm on the fence about it right now.

i think the problem is that i know the factory version of rattle medusa will be slightly different than the ap. the paint used is obviously going to be different so the final product will be different as well.
