This piece is like SS Dutch/ SS P2. It doesn't photographed well but looks good in person. The size make it has presence. Overall details on this is better than P2 though. And I have to say that even with issues/inaccuracies, whoever said NECA is better than this is having bias or need glasses.

No bud the neca that got repainted that pple were talking about blows this away, I didn't say it but I saw that neca pple were talking about and it looks amazing like the old ss p1 statue. But to each their own. Peace

Just curious, have you seen this new maquette in person?
I have custom NECA 18”, probably heavily customized than most, and my opinion is like what I’ve said after I saw new maquette at local shop. It’s like SS P2 all over again.

Thanks Spike! They really do compliment each other well, which I'm very happy about. I was worried that the scaling might be off, but I think in person it looks fine. The Pred really is a piece that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated IMO.

You sure the Pred is in the thermal variant? I just had another look and couldn't see him anywhere.

these days you have to contact him and see if he can make you one on order, its beautiful.. life size

Bobble head is REALLY apparent on those - really does depend on the angle of the shot.

Its just the angle of that picture. See below - no bobble head affect and it looks fine in real life

Just make sure not to look at it from the bobble-head angles in real life

To be fair though - there have been many good suggestions on this very forum to minimise issues:

1. Don't buy it.
2. Leave in the box.
3. Return to Sideshow.
4. View from a considerable distance.
5. Send to another country.
6. Put in your home-theatre (where the lights are usually out).

Spot on the head is an easy fix.. and some blood paint will help the skull.. I put it in the one eye socket.. Weird how they painted that... Those gums though... How weird.
