On occassion sideshow will randomly pop-up discounts on items you add to your cart. It generally only works for one person so you cant usually give out the code but if you're lucky you might snag one

Lol. So I thought I would try this out for the Spidey PF and instead of a discount for him they offered a $21 discount on the HT Maria Hill figure if I added it to the cart. In the past month I've received text messages from SSC for 30% off HT Electro and Medicom Kick-Ass. I'm starting to get offended.

Same here, I hope so. I told them I was interested in early payoff and acquiring early batch back in Dec, but no news yet.

Doesn't matter if you ordered first minute or last month.
Pretty random how they select who gets first batch.

I ordered Machiko first minute she was up, received her 3-4 months after she started shipping.

Yep because I ordered Machiko before wait list happened the next day. I got mines early

Just as a side note, I was going to pre order the Iron Studios Spider-man. The reason why I passed was because right now I'm a little sour with Iron Studios for not properly disclosing the edition size of their statues. If I would have known they have the right to recast for special distributors after initial runs then I would have waited until all runs are out there causing the market to saturate a little, then buy when prices stabilize.

So Sideshow you have won this battle by creating a nice representation of Spider-man in 1/4 scale for less than half the price of a competing vendor.

Not my pics, but from another member. I'm personally still waiting for my Captain America to arrive this week. I just wish they would have let people know that they have the right to release other batches to other vendors. This doesn't mean I will not buy Iron Studios statues, this means the pressure of getting a low ES in the first round is no longer there, and for a possible chance to get the statue at a lower price down the road.

My biggest concern at this point is I can't get him until close to my final flex in June. I don't want to end up with someone's repacked statue that was returned for something SS will cover up. >. >
