She. Didn't they say Daredevil would be supported then disclosed that it wasn't possible to engineer?

I've read about two of them breaking at the foot :(

Come on guys, is it really necessary to stress out about this this much. I've had the dark rider premium format until very recently, without any problems. This one has a thicker arm to support itself, less weight to support and it has the metal rod, I have no reason to believe they changed that.

So, with all that going for it, why stress and take away from the beautiful statue and great collecting experience this is

Ok, back to 'Getting this Thursday' or 'Can't wait until I get this' it is then. (Much more exciting).

I want this but not until the supporting structure is confirmed.

Eh, I figure if there are any issues showing up in the future I'll just stick a clear rod under one of the legs for it to sit on and take some weight off the arm.

I think I'll get this no matter what. I just want to be prepared for any issues that this might have.

Oh man this statue is insane, my new favorite Spider-Man Statue, well done Sideshow...

Alright.. so you like this one better than the OG Comiquette? I had this pre-ordered but canceled the day before my first flex pay. Seeing the pictures and a few reviews online.. this guy looks great. I thought his pose was too dynamic for my collection but I don't know.. I'm thinking about selling my Comiquette to pick up this guy and the new Hulk PF.

In manufacturing there will always be problems (not necessarily, hopefully, on an entire run), at the same time I would think SS did some r&d on their products. Add the human element and you'll have select cases. I also had the RWOS with no issue. Not gonna worry on this or DD as they both turned put pretty good.

Sidehows best Spidey to date.

Come on Royce, He looks awesome from the pics. I can't wait for them to ship mine. I personally wouldn't sell the Comiquette. They both have their own charm.
:hi5:

Man I don't keep more than one version of a character in my collection. Selling the Comiquette would allow me to pick up two new pieces. Just working out the mathematics lol

Keep the Comiquette! A classic. This statue MAY have issues down the road and the Hulk has a very noticeable seam.

It's just a thought for now.. the pieces in my collection are always on rotation though lol. The Hulk seam doesn't bother me.. I don't think it would be noticeable from the angle that I'd have him at.

Honestly I do not think the statue would last at all without the support going through the arm. The support rod is thick, no reason it cannot have a bend in it at the hand. I am not going to worry about it and just enjoy.

Can't wait until someone gets a 'destroy' request or x rays this.
Won't order until I can see what's in place.

I hope there is a rod running up the arm but I can't see it happening.

Anyone run a magnet up the arm?
Im surprised no one has tried the magnet yet considering how many have it. Im not going to lie it has me worried but not going to let it dampen my excitement to get it, if its not been confirmed or tried by friday I'll see if my magnets are strong enough.

If this is put together like the Hulk Comiquette I think we may not have to worry... The Hulk Comiquette had a solid landing leg and the rest was thinner of hollow... I have had the comiquette for ever and have not seen any leaning issues... Granted it's a thick leg But I think it has been confirmed that the right side of spidey is noticeably heavier then the left... So it sounds like it may be solid on one side and light hollow on the other thus putting much less strain on the arm.

Time will tell of course.. I will keep a close eye on mine after I get him.
