Is this the first time you've ordered a Sideshow product or the first time ordering directly from Sideshow?

I like the one on the right, but honestly, I'd go with whatever you think looks better in person. From the photo, I don't see a huge difference.

First time direct from sideshow - wanted the EX. Got the Daredevil in November from CMD Store (Canada based) and didn't really like them, so why not go direct? besides taxes

And let me also give you some advice too (just because I've been burned in the past - take it for what it's worth):

All of these are hand-painted. When you ask for a replacement, be REALLY careful and 'choose' your battles. I've had tiny, tiny blemishes where I was like "Sideshow, I want a replacement." They tell me to send it back and they send out a replacement. The replacement looks worse, making me wish I never would have sent it back. Not saying that it's a reason NOT to file, but if you're ever on the fence - don't do it. (This wouldn't be one of those times, IMO, but just saying.)

I think it takes 45 days after purchase for your account to be credited. I may be wrong though.

At least we covered both ends of spectrum - it was between 30 and 45. Not bad.

Ya I've thought about that too. Which is why I've been thinking about it since Monday. I got in touch with someone about the missing head immediately, but the paint has bothered me enough that it sucked some of the excitement out of getting him. I wondered if they could just send a new body with my EX head, without the reg/EX arms and base. Still have some inspecting to do but the base looks pretty perfect.

I was going to say, if they can send you a new body and head (as you said) BEFORE you have to smash one, that would be ideal. I don't think that would happen, BUT who knows. I think you'll definitely be able to get a replacement though, regardless.

Regarding asking for replacements, I'd say it's best to do it early while they still have replacement parts on hand. You'll run out of parts if you wait too long or go past the 30 day replacement warranty. Worse case scenario is they don't have replacements. You can always ask for a refund if you aren't satisfied and reorder the Ex.

So I asked for a new head Monday night through live chat and I'm supposed to hear back in 3-5 business days.

Just now I submitted a request to the parts section (not returns or exchanges, because that's not what I want) for a new body. Still love the statue and don't really want to go through the return process, so we'll see where this goes.
