It's good they've confirmed it already, as that'll allow people to pick which they'd like. I mean, most times it's obvious they'll do a variant, so it's always odd how shocked people act when it's finally announced.

Either way, now people can choose classic Spidey, or Scarlet Spidey...the obvious variant they're making.

Oh man, I'd say $450 tops. There is absolutely no way this is going near $500 US (it'll already be that for us in Canada.) I'm still hoping it lands in the $425-435 area.

Can't wait to see more of this, but I love what I see so far. Very dynamic. If the engineering and QC holds up on this, SSC brought their A game on this piece. The art direction on this PF is top shelf. When we see pieces like this, it's a powerful reminder of what SSC can do when they push the envelope and don't settle. Looking forward to the full reveal.

Might sell my JSC trio to make room for this. I love them but 1:4 is my thing and this will fit in better with my movie based collection.

Probably jumping the gun here like a year early but what are the chances we'll get more PF's to accompany him with dynamic posing being the whole focus? Maybe have a character in pursuit with Spiderman chasing down Vulture/Doc Oct perhaps.

I asked amigo yesterday to give me some kind of hint about the 1st villain they have planned. He said he's green. LMAO like half of Spidey's villains are green, but at least we can eliminate a few names. It's more than likely either Green Goblin, Lizard, Scorpion, Sandman, Electro, Vulture or Doc Oc. Unless he means not just wearing green, but IS green, which is probably Lizard. We'll see after Comic Con he says.

The variant...probably Black Costume if it's easy to guess but kinda disappointing... Black Costume is Spidey's most popular alternate costume, it deserves its own unique statue, not relegated to just a variant like always.

Was there ever any doubt? I'm sure that'll even get a lot of people double-dipping if it's priced right! Both are classic interpretations that go well together.

That said, even though I know nothing about the character, a 2099 variant would be just as visually appealing -- just because the costume looks quite badass!
