Well I meant a companion piece you could square your PF against PF.

yep, it's funny the first Comiquette has a total ES(ex and reg) less than 2000 ...that won't happen again with a character like Spidey.

This new PF looks like it will be Amazing, looking forward to the full reveal.

The EX ES alone might reach 2000 or more. No way the ES will be as low as the Comiquette. I love what I'm seeing, but I'm keeping my Com and I think it'll still be my favorite, but I'm excited for this one.

Difference with Batman, Supes and WW is they were all 1st time PFs of the comic versions. This is SS's 3rd traditional Spidey in 1/4 so while a ton of collectors need/want this version, it's not like some of the market isn't already saturated. We might not see Superman level ES, but we'll see high ES for a Marvel piece. It is Spider-Man after all.

Mine does too, suprisingly. Given how they altered the sculpt, other than that I had 0 issues. Not even the muddy lines some got in the face and back of the mask areas. Mine looks great.

It really is silly to talk about ES this day in age anyway. Its likely gonna be high. If not and we get lucky then great but were taking SS of old vs SS a new.

Some won't drop dough on the early Spideys MO. And the new com isn't 1/4th. I know its not a new character and I share your frustration but people do need a 1/4th in their collection and this will sell trust me.

JSC Mary Jane comiquette has an ES of 5000

that's all sorts of crazy but whatever. The new one will be a slower burner meaning it will be on the site for years and years for collectors new and old.

I totally see them doing a Spider-Man 2099, maybe miles morales variant, and of course Symbiote Spidey.

Yes, it's a good chance for the ones who missed the old ones. I am agree but don't you think it's an injustice situation for the ones who own the first pf in terms of collecting idea! I love Spider-Man but there are tons of characters out there to be made! Besides J. Scott Campbell's second version is just announced! I don't know...

they should do more timed variants ie-White Costume Storm in hand and ready to ship limited run

the first PF was awful.. I do think it's an injustice that there is no mixed media on this one though...

After seeing the mixed media on Batman and Superman, I wish they extended that treatment to Spidey. I thought the cloth on the costume was very good.

Rulk, you think the new one if executed well will sit on SS shelves. I am seriously considering this one cuz of the amazing pose (and I already have the JSC hence breaking my one character rule lol). Allies cap flew off the shelves and I think this has the same capability if the base works well. We shall see though my friend.

I am not here to troll but if I were you I'd jump all over the new PF, I wouldn't buy the JSC variant and I'd kick myself for missing the Holy Trinity (Canales initial comiquettes).

No doubt the new Spidey PF will be followed up with a new round of Spidey villains especially since SONY announced a Sinister Six film.

Theyve only really stuck to Black Spidey in recent years. I'd love a FF costume or Superior one or Miles version

A friend has the JSC Spidey Comi and I don't think it looks sub-par.

I meant compared to what we were shown. Paint was nothing near how great they got it with Mary Jane OR Gwen. A huge amount of them had that foot flush issue not to mention what looked like a blackwash over the entire piece. BTW I have the JSC Com too
