I am glad the reviews are giving it good reviews so I can sleep easier and not worry about it being a disappointment like Resident Evil 6.

Not to be a downer but none of these reviewers can be trusted. I haven't read reviews for more than ten years. The fix is in on the big "AAA" titles unless the game is Japanese or just really bad. But I still have high hopes for this one. In fact, I've been in full avoid anything about the game since seeing the first picture of the new Lara. The original Tomb Raider is still one of the best explore videogames even if Atlantis levels suck. I'm hoping for a lot of surprises in the new game.

Aliens : Colonial Marines has came out since then, Re 6 is no longer the benchmark of disapoint anymore

Aliens: Colonial Marines was so bad that I forgot about how disappointing it was! :lol Glad I only borrowed it and felt bad for my friend wasting money on it.

Depends on what you like, collecting steel books or collectors edition of games.

I think I am going to pass on the collectors edition since the only thing I want is the PAK figure (but I don't need it for $50 more) and just get the Steelbook from Target.

I actually amassed a collection over the years of certain collector's editions of various games & consoles/systems. For a period, there was as an aspect of collector's editions of certain games where they came with tangible contents (i.e. figures, books, etc.), but over the past couple of years collector's editions seem to focus more on select in game contents due to pre-orders and & DLCs and less on actual tangible stuff.

I thought of pre-ordering the CE of the new TR games, but don't want to caught up in the hype it'll be sold out, etc. because the last few CE of various games were still readily found for MSRP depending on where look.

Rather looking forward to this. While im not a massive Tomb raider fan they are great games for killing time. Sad to say i bought aliens: CM....what a mess that was didn't even get passed the first level.

Why is it when a game gets good reviews someone always has to bring up that reviewers can't be trusted....:dunno You haven't read reviews in ten years good for you. Me I still read reviews and watch them. Do I agree with them all the time? Hell no, but it still allows me to get some insight on the game.

Anyways forsure buying this game. Whoever is picking it up on pc might want to check out greenmangaming. You can get it for about 35 bucks or so.

Cant believe the reviews are coming in already though. Dint expect that.

I didn't expect it either, but I sure am glad they are. Makes pre ordering and paying full up front much easier :lol

Im surprised by the positive reviews, when i initially saw the game i was hyped but further demonstration videos made it seem boring to me.
looks like im back on the wagon

Im seeyin 8 and 9 for this game all over. Ign gave a 91/100 and gameinformer gave it a 93/100. Pretty good. Cant wait for next week.
