New Tomb Raider game

Just got off the phone with Amazon, I asked for the status of my order.
They informed me that they're having trouble finding enough product but it should ship in the coming days/early next week. Preorder bonuses or not, I might cancel this and just buy it elsewhere.

Can't wait to play it though!

True. I've only had this happen once with the Borderlands 2 collectors strategy guide.

I opt'd for the free shipping and I asked if that had anything to do with it, and I was met with a "no" is anyone else still waiting for theirs to ship?

Loving this game. Definitely has an Uncharted vibe but in my opinion I think the combat is better here. I'm at the part where you get the compound bow. Has anyone broken their PAK Lara yet? The right elbow peg on mine broke and the right wrist peg has a crack in it. At least I got it in a semi-decent pose right now.

If you buy it at some place like a Target, you would take back the new one from Amazon when it arrives to Target and get your money back. Keeping the game you have been playing from Target (but basically paying the Amazon price).

I'm at the part where I basically blew up the Japanese castle and killed the Russian dude with the grenade launcher.

I'll admit that I rushed through the game a bit but I would kinda like to go back and go relic-hunting. However, my camp wouldn't allow me to fast travel. Will I be able to fast travel again soon or will I need to restart the game? :-/

So far, this game is amazing. I'm glad that the combat is challenging but not too hard. I'm usually absolutely lousy at aiming but so far, I've managed to get by without dying too much.

Seems reasonable, I think with most new game releases you can get free 2 day shipping where it will allow you to receive the game on release day.
