I know it wouldn't really work, but I'd like a 'masked' version head like with the Astonishing costume and an 'unmasked - visor only' version like in the same vein as a Jim Lee version.

I'm assuming you heard, but nonetheless, XM has one coming that you might be interested in. Check it out if you haven't already. I think the prototype renders are out.

I didn't know about that but found some renders online. It looks sick. Does XM do payment plans? I'm kind of enjoying the twist SS is doing on them so I will have to see which one I like better. Also, SS will probably be cheaper?

Much cheaper. Shipping costs kill on XM statues ($300 at the very least to $400 or more for larger statues). Also, if you live in the Western hemisphere, you can't purchase Marvel XM statues directly off their website. You'll have to find a middle man to secure you the statue that you want.

I'm sure SS will be cheaper, but there may be a trade off between the two as XM typically costs more, but you get many switch out parts and many times better QC and intricacy.

Are you in the U.S. based or elsewhere? If you're not in the U.S., XM may be the way to go eventually if you consider shipping costs.

Statues like she hulk "not as sought after" seem to stay at retail with a reasonable shipping cost.

Every XM statue drops down significantly after the hype wears off. Magneto and Black Widow have been the only ones to really hold their values and stay there.

I’ve seen Batman go for close to retail. The rest you guys all mentioned, magneto, Black Widow, Ghost rider, Cable and venom are all the most expensive from XM in the after market
