I'd love an Elrond. Of course, I'd love any character so I guess my opinnion doesn't really matter. Just announce the next figure already dammit!!!!!!!!!

Sideshow recommends that we post here who we would like to see next in the LOTR lines. And it looks like I'm not the only one who is dying for some Hobbits!

No you're not! They will be done, it's just a matter of time. There is no way in hell SS would've attempted this line without first tackling the Hobbit and Dwarf body styles. Here's to hoping the Hobbits aren't too far off for they will certainly get a lot of attention with the new body style.

The only figure I can see them having an issue with would be Gollum will be interesting to see if or how they pull him off.

I'm thinking more of a Salacious Crumb style. Little poseability, but I'd prefer that to having all his joints be exposed. Maybe have his shoulders be jointed like Jabba's so they can move up and down but that's it.

I don't think SS really has an answer to the Hobbit/Gimli body yet... thats why there has been no news and they are moving on to Non-Fellowship.

I'm sure they do, it's probably just still in the production phase. They wouldn't have done this line without knowing they could do Hobbits and Dwarves.

LOL... I can see it now.. no hobbits or dwarfs! :D wouldn't we feel funny.

I actually think a ring wraith would be harder to make.

Well Josh did an interview with Brant and he answered one of my questions that should help shed some light and made me feel alot better:

Q: Will we get the hobbits made in the 12" line and would they be a 2-pack or how would they do it.

A: It’s impossible to do LOTR and NOT do Hobbits! It’s unlikely that the Hobbits would be done as 2-packs, because the price would go so high! Each of them has as much clothing and gear as any standard 12-inch figure.

Let us now pray together so that we might receive a preview of Faramir in his ranger garb in tomorrow's newsletter.... :monkey3

Sideshow, we want Faramir!!!!!!!!!! See votes above for cold, undeniable evidence!

FARAMIR!!!!!!!!!

I agree. You are near Sideshow go down with picket signs saying WE WANT FARAMIR tomorrow.

I'd rather have a Wraith or Saruman. Or the Witchking. Or Wormtongue. Or THE MOUTH OUF SAURON!!!!!!

And 36% does not look like cold evidence to me. I mean, 43 people voted for Faramir. Woo.

I hope they make a way to have Gimli taller than the Hobbits.

Hey, 36% is good enough for me! I'm the eternal optimist...:D

Hmm......Marching in front of SSC sounds like a good idea.......

Really though, I'm just being anxious. I've been waiting a long time for Faramir; once I have him I'll support anybody else they send our way.

I'm to the point now where I just want an announcement and we'll be cool with whoever. After we go that tease fro SS telling us it will be a non-fellowship everyone is on the edge of their seat in anticipation. Personally I wish LOTR got as much love as SW does in the 12" area.
