I bought a couple of TTL 2.0 bodies and are loving it. Haven't really used them yet but I like the way it was build and the range of articulations it can achieved.

I purchased Spenser's Ghostbusters head sculpts and I was wondering if everyone and anyone can lend a few words of their knowledge and guide me in the right direction in finding 1/6 bodies that will work with the heads. Any links will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

These bodies work very well in place of a TT. However I will say my only complaint is the funky knee joint. I was using one on a Harvey Dent tied to a chair Dio and it looks awful sitting at the knees. Other than that I highly recommend them for a cheap alternative.

They're certainly hard to beat for the price, too. I picked up a couple with a mind to upgrade some of my older Sideshow figures and found them to do the job quite nicely. One of them was Aragorn, so I wanted to use his original SS hands with the Ring of Barahir sculpted on. Fortunately, the SS hands were able to fit onto the TTL wrist pegs, and the feet were actually an improvement over the Buck's tiny feet.

Will a Bruce Wayne TDK head work on these TTL 3.0 bodies? If so, which is the closest skin tone to get?

TIA.

Any HT head should fit on the 3.0 body. As far as color tone goes, I'd say the "medium" rather than "pale" would be best, as it's probably the closest match. Maybe somebody here who has the same TDK Wayne head you have could give you a more definite answer though.

With the T.1 and T.2 versions there was a set that included a head and a pair of gloved hands. These figures are the closest match to the HT TT standard caucasian tone. (TTL's site lists the color tones as: A-light, B-tan, and C-dark). Some other sites list the colors differently, but the "medium" or B color should be closest to the standard HT caucasian tone. The T.3 bodies don't appear to be offered with the head & extra hands, btw.

Here's a link to TTL's site if anyone wants to compare for themselves:

Now do the TTL's come with extra hands? I received one recently, still in box from StoreRooms, and it only came with the "pistol-wielding" hands.

The complete body sets are the only ones that come with extra hands AFAIK, and those are shooting hands as well. The good thing is that HT wrist pegs fit easily, and there are lots of loose HT type hands available on ebay lately.

I just got a few TTLs in. Not bad, but aside from the neck they are the Sideshow Promethus exactly. The exact same shape, the exact same articulation (except the neck), everything is just like a Pro. I can't imagine buying this to replace a Pro unless you really want the one piece neck.

The TTL bodies are better than Pros, because they have good joints and better articulation. No floppy hip or feet problems.

I'm not trying to be difficult - but the TTL 3.0 articulation is exactly like a pro except they lack the extra joint between the neck and chest.

I haven't had a floppy pro in about 6 figures.

Like other have said, that's it. The one set of hands. And looking back now, I got 2 of the same neck post adapter things. Both the spikey one... Mine was loose though.

Mine has a floppy wrist though. :monkey3
